Exclusive use of historic Monmouth House with five beautiful grade II listed self contained apartments in the heart of the Old town of Lyme Regis which can be booked exclusively for up to 16 guests. Located a 3 minute flat walk to beach/sea, shops and restaurants in the most beautiful part of the Old town. Wonderful outside garden space, parking x 4 cars nearby, child and dog friendly (£10 per night ). MSPA Hot tub for 4 guests. Perfect for Special occasions, events, business groups or Weddings. The apartments are the Duke of Monmouth penthouse apartment which sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms (Superking and 2 x king beds) . On the first floor are Lord Grey apartment which sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms (1 King bedroom and 1 king or twin configuration in the small 2nd bedroom ) and the luxury, boutique Earl of Feversham one bedroom apartment. The Earl of Argyle quirky and cosy double bedroom and The unique Priesthole king bed apartments are on the ground floor. All apartments are self contained with seperate private entrances and have fully equipped kitchen/living and dining area, bedrooms and bath or shower room. Monmouth House is a Grade II listed house dating from the 1600’s which has been fully renovated. There are five apartments in the building all with historic features. The Duke of Monmouth resided here during the 1685 Rebellion. The apartments are all named after historic men involved on both sides of the Monmouth Rebellion conflict during 1685. Please note the Grade II listed building is not accessible for guests with mobility issues and has stairs throughout the house.

A 5 star experience right in the heart of Lyme.
This is a special house. Beautiful furnished with artistic and eclectic furniture. Wonderful chill out communal lounges, spacious exterior patio perfect for dining outside, and well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms offering perfect privacy. Everything worked perfectly, including well organised parking minutes away. We cannot recommend Monmouth House enough for a wedding, or any social event where you need to be moments from the best Lyme offers, in a property that makes you feel really special. Our hosts Leesa and Gary were on hand for any questions we had, so communication was instant and faultless. A place full of upmarket charm and style. A diamond for sure.

Great house, beautifully restored with great amenities. 2 minutes walk from the beach and the town centre. Any issues were dealt with really promptly and Suzanne who is the local contact and housekeeper is a superstar!
