We asked for a room that sleeps 5 - 2 adults, and 3 kids ages 13, 14 and 15. We were given a room that stated it sleeps five only to have 2 beds. The staff had to look to see if they could find a folding cot for us. The room was small, and didn’t accommodate a cot! The bathroom was tiny and didn’t feel clean. We were on the left side of the building next to seasonal staff housing for the island so we experienced partying until late hours of the morning and 2 nights someone vomited outside the window. The spa pool is not a pool at all, but a hot tub. Sadly the manager never reached out to us when requested and the staff on site were not helpful and two of them were downright rude. We’ve stayed on Mackinac 5 times in the last 10 years and have always had an amazing experience. We will not stay at the Inn on Mackinac again.
It was a friends reunion. Had a carriage tour, went out for a nice meal one night, hung out on the porch watching traffic, shopped, chatted, etc

I felt the Victorian home lacked true appeal of a Victorian home . Decorations were minimal and cheap looking . I expected authentic decorations . Maybe a little more victorian looking . Blinds on window didn’t match at all to room . Outside looked beautiful and intriguing but once inside door it felt like a hotel lobby and lacked the homey feel of a quality B&B. Breakfast was a grab and go . I usually have experienced a lovely home made breakfast with nice dinnerware, charm and quality foods . This was boxed cereal and hard boiled eggs . Pastries were good tho . Just think if you book a B&B it should be more homey feeling .
The property is lovely, beautifully landscaped. Our room was clean, pleasantly decorated and well provisioned. Luggage transport services, organization,
and operation were exceptional. The staff is well trained and pleasant. We would definitely recommend Inn at Mackinac to future guests.
We really liked the decor, beautiful porch and the heated pool. Easy walk to the main attractions. Great time!

Location was amazing, but rooms were small & could hear kids running around. They did have mandatory quiet time after 10pm, but I was expecting more for the price. It was listed as a bed and breakfast & the food quality mirrored a continental breakfast at a cheap motel.
