I walked in the room. Took two minutes. Saw blood drop stains on the wall, something black on the sheet without even having to peel it back. And, I left, never having spent the night. BTW, if you're going to an event in Madison, it also is convenient to nothing. Next to a landfill on a dead end road. Didn't even ask for a refund, I knew the answer

This place needs to be removed from Hotels.com. The super positive reviews about this place are a scam and a joke. It's on a difficult to find frontage dead-end road The TV is internet streaming and I never figured out how to watch local news. Was not about to enter my usernames and passwords. Breakfast was awful. They never came out to check what was stocked and what needed to be replenished. Thank god every hotel in the country has a waffle maker. Early breakfast was crowded with those who seemed like long term residents who were kind of sketchy. The halls echo. The vending and ice machines are way in the back. I expected to have my car broken into. The washer was broken. Only 8 random bags of chips in the vending machine and no ice cream for sale in the office coo The woman who runs it was super nice when I checked in and cold as ice the next morning when I asked any questions about the breakfast. Bed was fine. AC worked. Someone described it as a hostel and that is kind of the vibe. Had I known how crappy this place is I would have paid $15 more a night and been so much happier someplace else.

Property was dated but clean. Bed was comfortable. T Internet TV did not work well. Breakfast was adequate. Clean place to stay if you’re not looking for any frills.

Good place to stay, especially being a budget hotel- it was clean, room was redone except the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. The person who checked me in at night was friendly, courteous, really kind and personable. The breakfast was more than what I expected as there was an omelet station there and most breakfast bars don’t have that anymore. There was confusion though long after checkout though…They have hard keys and when I left (around 7:30 am) no one was at the desk to take my key. I left it in the same spot I checked in at and officially checked out. (A little “bucket” where you would slide things to the other side of the window) Around 11am I was called regarding checkout, a courtesy call reminding that checkout was at 11am. I informed them that I did checkout already and where I left my key, which she confirmed she had. Later that day (around 4:30) I received a text stating I would be charged $25 for not returning the key. I was confused and frustrated of course, which I called and explained that. I was told they never received my key and would be charged for it, however I did push back as I received a verbal confirmation of them having the key earlier in the day. After the call I received a text that apologized about the confusion and that they did in fact have the key. Overall, it’s okay. I told my partner I would stay there again if I was in a pinch, but after the checkout dilemma, I’m not sure if I would or not. It definitely caused a headache.

It's quite and safe. It's clean. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast - like the sausage and gravy over biscuit and the sausage links aren't cooked all the way. Other than that it's all good

The only thing this place has going for it is that it’s cheap and clean. The bed is incredibly uncomfortable so anyone 30 get ready for an achy back. There were 4 usb ports in the room and none were functional. This “hotel” appeared to be more of a hostel. There were few tenants but they all seemed to know each other and the tv was connected to private accounts so… you tell me. Thankfully we only needed a one night stay.

Don’t Risk It!!!
This is the Worst hotel, I’ve ever encountered. Hotel sits on a frontage dead end road with overgrown brush weeds surrounding it. We pulled in decided we would look at room b4 checking in bcs the hotel & area were very sketchy. Room was very basic as expected but bathroom had mold n very dirty& A/C barely worked. I told lady we want to cancel the reservation. She said we couldn’t because they would have needed 24 hour notice. So we are out the money, but we are safe and still have all four tires on our car. I feel it’s our responsibility to warn others. Stay away from this place! We were so thankful we didn’t take in our personal belongings as we probably would have had bed bugs or roaches. It truly was that bad!! I believe this hotel is mostly used for locals. I’m somewhat surprised that Hotels.com has a hotel of this condition in their list of inventory. I thought this was a reputable website.
