Very nice, clean hotel. Convenient location to the palace, cathedral, plaza and San Miguel Market that provides the classical and variety of food. The Tapas are so good! For an extra, there’s a grocery store just around the corner. We came from US and enjoyed the stay.

Found the room walls very thin. Especially when the occupants in the next room ran the basin tap every 30 minutes from 3am onwards then all of the occupants used the shower facilities until 5am It was incredibly hard to find some sleep during our stay due to this. Otherwise all was ok

It´s very clean and centrally located. The staff is also very accommodating and pleasant to interact with. At first they gave me an exterior room that had a lot of street noise, but I then requested an interior room which they moved me to right away. Granted, there was no view, however it was much better for sleeping and the window still let in fresh air.

Great, quiet, comfortable but central hotel.
Extremely well located hotel room especially for the art galleries. Spotless, very comfortable beds, large shower, helpful staff and quiet despite a central location. We couldn't hear anything at night. The breakfast was fantastic value - a really varied selection of savoury, fruit, sweet, salad and drinks.I would stay here again when next in Madrid.

We are very satisfied with this property. We had room 311, which had a king size bed with exterior view. Room was very clean and met all basic requirements. Staff was very friendly and eager to help. Hostal is close to everything and very walkable. We recommend wholeheartedly.

This hotel was clean and the staff were helpful. It was more difficult to check in after hours, as the main entrance was in a dark alley. Also, there was no sign as to how to check in and when we pressed the first buzzer, no one answered. We tried another buzzer, and they did let us in, but it is not well labelled to know which button/buzzer you choose for the hostel. The breakfast had good choices and was a good value. It was centrally located and was a short walk to the main square. Other main attractions were within a 30 minute walk. The only negative was that the room was too warm and there was no way to adjust the room temperature. It does look like they had an air conditioner for the summertime, but it was not useable in the winter. It did have a patio but overlooked alley abs was too noisy to leave door open
