I was told I was upgraded to a larger room, due to my Platinum status with Expedia, but the upgraded room seemed rather small , making me wonder about the size of a normal room.Other than that, the location is excellent, and my stay was comfortable.

My 10 day stay at Hotel Atlantico was wonderful. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. My check-in was quick, and unlike many hotels, the check-in time was at 12:00 noon instead of 2:00 pm! My hotel room had great amenities. I had requested 2 twin beds, and they were provided. The room overlooked the Gran Via, which was great. Yes, it could be a bit noisy, but isn't that why you would want to stay on the main thoroughfare in the middle of the action! The breakfast buffet was good, also, with many food options. I would definitely recommend Hotel Atlantico, and if I were to return to Madrid, I would stay there again.

Magnificent small hotel in the heart of Gran Via. Clean, elegant rooms. Easily walkable to restaurants, shopping and tourist sites. Surprisingly great breakfast (especially the coffee!) for a reasonable price (€ 12 per person). Also has a nice rooftop lounge, which was a great place for a drink. Highly recommend!

Like many hotels in Madrid this one was extremely noisy. Make sure to get your room off of street level. The room was cheap finishes but clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast food so so. Greeting upon arrival poor attitude but efficient. We stayed in 5 star hotels where they spoiled us previously so that is part of my shock. There are no valets fyi. Fine for us as we traveled light.
