Go somewhere else unless you upgrade rooms
No clue how this hotel has such a high rating. The room was hostel grade with no real window and faced the courtyard where a loud fountain is splashing. It had no modern lobby, no vibe. The bedding was awful, like in a $50/night american roadside hotel. Other than the location, there is zero it has going for it.

The hotel is a beautiful building located on a vibrant street with many shopping and dining options. The hotel 9th floor terrace was beautiful to enjoy great views and enjoy cocktails. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It was a very enjoyable stay.

A great hotel for visiting Madrid
This hotel's location on Gran Via puts you only a few minute's walk from all the city's major sites. The rooftop terrace & bar offered a great spot to relax after a long day. Oue room & bathroom were large by European standards, with high ceilings. The breakfast buffet offered nice variety. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The property is located in the center and walkable to surrounding sightseeing places. The reception staff predominantly males are not very friendly or make you feel welcomed. I will warn to please use shower mats inside tub. I had a terrible fall outside to the floor due to tub very slippery.

The location is excellent. It's so easy to walk to any of the sights you may want to see in Madrid. The hotel is centrally located. The rooms are lovely, clean and quiet. I would love to stay in this hotel the next time I come to Madrid.

This property was delightful. It is in the perfect location. It’s very traditional and old school but that’s why I liked it. Sure it could use some new furniture in common areas, but the rooms, linens, staff were great.
