Would be perfect, except ...

A friend and I stayed for three nights in two rooms. First, the good: 1) The staff was excellent. They could not have been nicer or more helpful. 2) The beds were very comfortable, the bedding luxurious, and the towels bright white and plush. 3) The breakfast was outstanding. 4) The location was ideal for exploring Porto. The bad: 1) Both of our rooms sometimes smelled strongly of sewer. It was not continuous. We would smell it when we first opened the door after being out for a few hours. 2) In my room, the diverter that was supposed to change the shower from overhead to hand-held did not work. 3) The hair dryer in my room would work briefly then stop, or sometimes not work at all.

We stayed in a Junior Suite and it was amazing. Nice touch to have a jacuzzi style bath. Only negative was, the bar didnt open till 5pm. But thats my problem i guess lol

What a few hours night stopover should be!

A breeze, from the van picking you at the easily identifiable stop and the best for the last, an upgrade that put me in a different stratosphere, if only for a short 9 hours. If it were for me only, I would have stretched it out to 9 weeks!
