I was really looking forward to our starly however sadly we had a number of issues including no working air con in our room which meant we bad to sleep with balcony open which was no great for a busy city. Also asked for extra towels on more than on occassion whcih never arrived. Its a shame as the location was great and the bed comfy and a great shower but issues like AC and poor customer service impacted on my stay.

The hotel is in a good location and close to shops. The room we were given was in the basement which was not attractive. The room was clean but definitely would not consider going back. Maybe the rooms in the upper floors are more attractive. When we arrived there was no one at the reception although there was a hand written sign saying they’d be back. But after a 6 hour flight and 15 mins to a lunch appointment it’s not what I wanted to see.

Four Shot Recoletos was a wonderful find. It’s in a great location close to multiple public transport options. The rooms, though small, are lovely. The hotel walking distance from the Prado and the Thyssen art museums, as well as to the center of the city. I’d strongly recommend it to anyone traveling to Madrid. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Great location! It was adequite, but a bit disappointing. Definately not a 4* experience. Staff inconsistent; sometimes OK, other times distracted by their own conversations. Breakfast was substandard. I would not recommend booking with breakfast included. With a little bit of love and attention, this could be a great place.

Nice friendly hotel close to Metros. The amazing Vias across to the palace & other sights were wonderful. Great bars & sidewalk eateries just up the street made the location perfect. The staff were so friendly & efficient.
