It’s a 5 star that could do with modernising. For example soft close cabinetry would be nice. It’s HVAC is not up to par. I had to ask the night watchman to up the heat specifically for my room as it’s set centrally at one level fits all. The plus is the room was large and had a great view over the square. The breakfast staff deserve special mention for their dedication to the highest levels of service they are a credit to the manageress.

We were so grateful that the hotel let us check in at 12 instead of 3 after an overnight flight..The room was lovely and quiet..pity that the restaurant and bar were closed..the pool in the sister hotel was amazing but very expensive drink in the pool bar beer 8 euro and cocktail 15 euro. In a great location near the centre of Madrid..Overall i would definitely stay in this hotel again.
