Decent stay and great staff
Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were topnotch in terms of assistance and politeness and I'd recommend staying here for those reasons alone. The room was comfortable with a nice balcony, quiet, tons of storage space, and great AC. It did show it's age and wasn't perfect, for example the bathroom door handle not working properly and no toilet roll holder. The overall facility was in decent shape though I think cleaning up the hotel grounds a bit would make it more attractive, especially near the pool area and beach walkway.
The restaurant and restaurant staff were amazing. The included breakfast was delicious and filling. One downside was that they don't take credit cards (unless the staff misunderstood "credit card" and "Visa" when asking about paying the bill) which is a negative for travellers that might not have a lot of shillings with them so I recommend bringing enough cash.
The path to the beach is nice but if you're not a fan of stairs you might have some trouble. I also think it could benefit by clearing up the end of the path at the beach since there isn't much of a marker for finding it other than a couple waste-height wooden polls. Due to the large size of the beach, pay attention to the surroundings so you can find your way back because most of the beachfront looks the same and all the buildings are set far back so aren't easily visible.
