Really convenient location for Universities and short walk into town. Have stayed many times and never been dissapointed. Modern and clean throughout, a room on a higher floor guarantees no road noise.

The hotel itself was lovely. However we just had a bad experience leaving as we were told to leave via the ‘back exit’ quite abruptly by the usher at reception as ‘someone important’ was leaving the hotel. So that member of staff was definitely lacking in customer service. Other staff members were nice, and Otherwise no issues with the cleanliness of the hotel itself. Only one member of staff was rude, I will not likely be returning again due to this experience

Overall the hotel makes a nice impression. The beds were comfortable and it was clean. However, unfortunately we were quite unlucky as the air con in our room didn’t work and it was very stuffy. There’s also no car park at the hotel, it’s separate and at additional cost £16.50 for 24hrs.

The start was pleasant, coming from the south of the UK to the hotel was simple, welcomed warmly on arrival staff professional and friendly through out stay, just a shame about the city tax for staying in a hotel :/ overall room was spacious and clean and modern and would suggest staying there and also revisiting.

Weekend stay
We used the Hyatt Regency for a 2 night stay so we could do the Coronation Street Tour in Manchester. We found the hotel to be very clean with reception staff being very polite and helpful. There was also a number of bus routes available to Manchester Piccadilly Gardens so we didn't have to use the car.

Perfect for our stay. Only possible grip is the garage for parking has set open/close times. Not convenient at all for early flight departures, late arrivals or delays.
