It hits the 5 star spot
The Lowry Hotel was a very comfortable stay in a recent trip to Manchester. Secure parking opposite a few metres walk to reception. Surroundings have changed since last visit but still maintains a regal and elegant charm. Superior Deluxe room offers a large space with one of the best (and biggest) ever beds to sleep on. Pillows a bit softer than my liking but a refreshing sleep. Gym is good but on smaller side for The Lowry’s standing I think. But got a decent workout. For me 10/10 stay in Manchester. Enjoy!

The Lowry is always my preferred choice in Manchester. This trip found the reception staff a tad frosty, especially when checking in. I resisted on commenting on the lack of a smile! Didn’t bother with breakfast, as despite how good the food is, service is slow. Only other negative is the water pressure - the shower was a little pathetic.
