Advertised a balcony, which appeared to look over the water, but it was over the parking lot and noisy highway. Hotels .com rated this much higher than it should have been. The a/c unit was loud and very dirty-needs to be cleaned. Never stayed in a hotel that didn’t use white sheets.

We enjoyed this hotel. The diner next to it was great and affordable. They had the best rueban sandwich. The owners of this hotel were super nice. They don't have heat on the bottom floor and we didn't know this. The owner or manager gave us a space heater that worked well! It was a nice quiet place.

Really nice lodging at this hotel. Very warm and welcoming front desk. Our room was spacious and spotless. Nice small fridge & microwave. Great pool & hot tub. Wifi was only OK but beach was secluded and beautiful. Restaurant next door. Would definitely stay here again.

Older motel. Decent price. Has its own Lake Michigan beach-very cool. Diner next door is good and cheap, popular with locals. Wife did not like the room. Bed was a double,not queen-wife said her half was damp and put a towel over the sheet. Bathtub had rust stain at drain. Tile on bathroom floor was cracked.

The tub was not cleaned and the room smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The hotel allows people to smoke immediately outside the rooms so if any of the neighbors smoke you get the second hand smoke.

Friendly staff and a great location! It was clean and right across the highway from the lake. It could definitely use some updating and the bed was rather hard but other than that the room was solid. Be warned the water in the bathroom is well water. There’s a diner next door that offers a breakfast discount to motel guests and we took them up on it. Good standard diner breakfast.

Room not what I reserved. I booked the Royal King room with balcony with view of the lake. And what I was given was a standard queen because We travel with dogs. Our room was clean but tv didn’t work and room was in very poor condition. I payed 262.68 for the king room and the room we were given would have been 133.00 plus 50.00 for my dog’s totaling 182.00. That was a 80.00 different. That for me was unexceptable . I personally will not return. So be aware what your getting for you money.I thought that you would get a refund for the difference in cost but this did not happen.

We stayed overnight, as we traveled across the U.P.. We arrived late, but we're greeted in a nice and helpful manner. Check-in and check-out were quick and simple. The room was perfect for what we needed, with a mini fridge, comfortable beds, and nice linens. Bathroom was slightly outdated, but the shower felt good. Great breakfast place right next door, walking distance from our room. All in all, a nice place, and I'd stay there again.

The motel was clean and the bed was comfortable. However. There a few problems. The shower head was very low. I am 6 feet tall and it was about level with neck. There was also not latch, chain, or deadbolt on my door beyond the single lock opened with a card.
