Handy for highway stop off on trip through Germany to Austria. Close to city for restaurants etc

lovely but could do better
The hotel is in a lovely place however the picture on the advert was not representative of our room. One of the hottest weekends and no air conditioning just a floor fan. The mini bar was stocked but the fridge wasn’t working so everything was warm. Staff were pleasant.

Small with a warm welcome
About 4km from Central station but rate reflected that, Small and with a warm welcome the receptionist also handled the lobby/terrace bar efficiently. The Italian restaurnat adjoining was ctwided with locals and boasted large tables where single diners ate together. Speak if you enjoy meeting fellow guests. Great atmosphere

Good facilities and reasonably priced
Comfortable well equipped rooms, restaurant next door (but not owned by hotel). Excellent service. Only negative was lack of air conditioning.

Leider habe ich in der gebuchten Übernachtung keinen Schlaf gefunden. Die Wände/ Türen sind anscheinend so dünn das man die Schlafgeräusche seines Nachbarn extrem laut hört. Somit war das Schnarchen mehrer Personen auf einer Etage in unterschiedlichen Zimmern die ganze Nacht zu höhren.

Unterkunft für Formel 1-Wochenende
Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer, was natürlich nicht allzu groß war, was aber völlig ok und ausreichend war. Die Einrichtung ist alt, dient aber seinem Zweck und es ist alles sehr sauber. Das Bad ist ebenfalls alt, aber es gibt genügend Ablageflächen. Da es ein altes Hotel ist, gibt es leider keine Klimaanlage und somit war es im Zimmer bei Außentemperaturen über 30°C unerträglich heiß. Ich hatte zwar einen Ventilator, der die warme Luft aber auch nur leicht hin und her gewirbelt hat. Aber der gute Wille war da. :-) Parkplätze gibt es an sich genug, jedoch an einem F1 Wochenende nicht. ;-) In dem Gebäude gibt es ein eigenständiges Restaurant, in dem man wirklich sehr gut essen kann. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist top! Die Entfernung zum Hockenheimring beträgt ca. 20 km, die schnell zu fahren sind.
