Villa 4 chambres 3 salles de bain complète sur le canal à Marathon, une promenade en bateau vers l'océan. Piscine chauffée privée. Quai privé de 30 pieds. Comprend 4 vélos, berceau Porta, siège pour chaise haute, congélateur extérieur, table de nettoyage du poisson, Internet, mixeur, plaque chauffante électrique, cafetière, grille de propane extérieure, petite radio bleue et serviettes de plage. Les chambres comprennent 3 lits King et 1 lit Queen et 1 canapé-lit Queen. Toutes les chambres comprennent une nouvelle télévision à écran plat. 3 chambres à l'étage et 1 au niveau principal. Capacité d'accueil totale de 10 personnes. Frais de nettoyage est de 225 $ et 12. 5% taxe. Le chauffage de la piscine coûte 100 $ par semaine et est considéré comme une piscine payante mais nécessaire uniquement en hiver. C'est une nouvelle construction, donc nous n'avons pas encore beaucoup de critiques mais nous sommes des gens formidables. L'adresse est 203 Sombrero Beach Road, Marathon.

Nice place but wouldn’t stay again for the price
Nice place but lacked routine maintenance, upkeep, and cleanliness. Entire place needed deep cleaning. Had to clean bathrooms and floors first. Outdoor grill was unusable and we had to buy parts to be able to use, animals in trash cans every night as there were no lids, outdoor freezer was unusable for food and could be used for bait only, couple kitchen appliances were broken, patio furniture was really rusted, patio side table falling apart, kitchen faucet broke (George came to fix), small bedroom lamps had to be unplugged to turn off, refrigerator/freezer shelves broke. We had to repair toilet paper holder as it was broke, the vanity knob, and hang upstairs closet door back on. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Has potential
The house definitely needs a deep cleaning and some maintenance done. There was absolutely no cold water. The location is good. It takes about an hour to key West or islamorada. Publix and Walgreens are very close, just a couple minute walk. The listing says 5 minute walk to sombrero beach, more like 30-45 minutes one way. We did see manatee in the canal behind the house!! The pool was really nice. There are 4 beds and only 2 throw blankets in the whole house. The kitchen sink handle did fall off but the maintenance guy came the next day to put it back on. Overall the house did the job but wouldn't stay there again.

Had many great experiences in the area, Dolphin Research, Turtle Hospital, Fishing and Manatees in the Canal. Great weather, enjoyable pool and nice views.

Overall Very Good
Pros: convenient location, comfy beds, nice pool & pool area (plenty of chairs and shade), new washer, dryer & dishwasher, great neighborhood for biking, balcony off of the living room, shaded carport, open floor plan, good-sized kitchen. Cons: local maintenance man is kind of rude, a few things are broken (kitchen faucet handle, micro handle, TP dispenser), poor shower pressure due to oversized shower heads, and needs a deep cleaning.

Spring Break Heaven
This property was everything we needed for our Spring Break out of the frozen tundra and into paradise! Perfectly located, with bikes for the teenagers to get to the beach and go shopping without worry! Fishing was excellent, there were manatee in the canal behind the house, and the pool was perfect for our daughter to hang out in all week! With shopping so close, running for a refill of anything was no big deal! Marathon is an incredible place to vacation and this house was everything we needed!

We were surprised it was a duplex. No kayacks but listed on amenities. Needs updated furniture and a good cleaning. Loved the pool and dock for boat. Kitchen well stocked and beds comfortable. Overall a good vacation spot.

Maintenance Needed - not clean
Not as clean as it should be, when I did call George about this he came to see what I was referring to , ( baby bottle with milk found under tv, coffee stains on cabinets, filthy trash bin) Refrigerator was very loud, blender was cracked could not be used, handle on kitchen faucet was broken. Water pressure was minimal especially in master bath. No bikes were provided as stated in description , when I called George he finally agreed to bring a few. Overall we had a good vacation but I wouldn’t rent this house unless the owner does a major cleaning and maintenance.

Great location in Marathon. House comfortably slept our group of 7. Pool was nice and having a washer dryer was great. When we arrived the microwave handle and kitchen sink faucet were held together by duck tape. The bikes had flat tires and no pump to pump them up. They did drop off 2 additional bikes for us to use.

This place was just OK
The property has what appears to be long term maintenance and cleaning issues. The appliances had problems. Kitchen sink faucet handle broken. Refrigerator was very loud. Microwave handle broken. Many lightbulbs were out in canned ceiling lights. The kitchen supplies dishes,utensils, etc. very limited.The sofas were TERRIBLE - DIRTY, AND VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. The sunset was beautiful, but the sun is so blinding, without curtains or blinds, it was hard to enjoy. The owners changed the cable tv to streaming without notifying us. When we called they did come out with a bag full of Fire Sticks, power supply and remotes. They were in the house about half a day doing the conversion. George, the maintenance man was responsive but did not fix a lot of the items (fridge, microwace, sink, light bulbs,, etc) stating he would fix them after we left. This place needs to be updated, replenished, and cleaned top to bottom. The location is good, but everything else could be so much better. We did enjoy our stay regardless of these issues but it was not worth the cost and we will not rent there again.

Great accomodations, location, value for our money!!
We had a group of nine and everyone was comfortable. The pool was perfect. Great spot to park our boat trailer and vehicles. Docking for our boat was amazing. Convenient to stores restaurants etc. Really couldn't have asked for anything more.

Clean nice house for the money
The house was centrally located at mile marker 50 in Marathon with super close convenience stores gas stations and restaurants. Pool was clean the dock was nice. The house was adequate for eight adults with four bedrooms and three baths. The only negative was the 25 to 30 minute boat ride from our dock to open water.

Duplex in the keys for mini season
I'll start with positives...comfortable beds, close to the beach and less than a block from grocery stores, roomy enough for the 5 of us (not sure how it would work for 10 ppl), fairly well stocked kitchen (except for utensils..mostly spoons). Negatives... this is a duplex, meaning if you have people next door they may use your parking and dock space, which is what happened to us, the place needs major upkeep and a good cleaning, there was dog hair in the sliding doors, couch, pillows and sheets with wear stains, the pool had papers and lots of leaves at the bottom, grass was overgrown, the ac filter was covered in gray nastiness, things falling apart like toilet paper holder and sink faucet. One afternoon I arrived after being out all day looking forward to hanging out at the pool and the lawn maintenance people were there cutting grass and trees which I feel could have been scheduled for a date when no one was using the place perhaps.

Love this place
This house is in a great location, has everything you need and is very nice. Only thing I would say is if you are planning to paddle board or something like that it is hard to get on and off the dock. But other than that it was amazing and would recommend to anyone.

Good stay with even better potential
This is a nice unit. It has a ton of potential. Some general upkeep pertaining to paint, linens, towels, etc is needed. The reported 15 minute ride through the canal system to open waters is every bit of 30-35 minutes. Nice to have four bedrooms and they were kind enough to allow pets. We enjoyed our stay.

First Time in Fl keys
Location, location location it's so close to Publix and winn dixie you could walk there. Coast to Coast pizza is amazing for authentic NYC style pizza. The house was as described and well kept. The only suggestion I have is for bath mats for getting out of shower. Fl land crabs in the front and back yard were cool to see when they weren't hiding from us. Had manatees off the deck haning out for a good half hour. Pool was perfect after a day at the beach or on the boat. Sombrero beach is under 2 minutes away by car. Must check out 7 mile bridge for sunset and Bahia Honda State Park for snorkeling. Would definitely stay there again.

Family vacation
We had a wonderful experience and will definitely stay here again!!! All amenities were as listed and in working order. We loved the pool and dock.. the cleaning station was very handy and the hose reached out to it for fish cleaning and boat cleaning!! It was about 25 minute idle to ocean but a beautiful ride!

Great Location
Great location to beautiful small Sombrero Beach, restaurants and shopping. The pool was very nice. The condition of the house was not the best as it needed some repairs and an overall good cleaning. However, all totaled my family had a great time.

Its in a excellent location. The idle out of the canal is very far approx 30 mins. The pool was green as soon as we arrived. the trash cans well full as well. The kitchen and toilets could be cleaned better, but thats it.

Great friend/family vacation
This is our second time renting this property and are already planning for next year. Enjoy the amenities and location . I would just make a suggestion to the owners to do an inventory on what’s available in the house. We had to buy more glassware and flatware as we had 8 people and there wasn’t enough available. The house and pool were clean. Could suggest a small refrigerator for the patio but got along fine by just bringing a cooler down. Stayed 2 weeks and enjoyed ourselves the entire time.

Great location, could be a premier property.
Lots of pros to this property-great location and size. Downsides were: the sofa cushions and soft coverings were filthy and stained. The beautiful new floor must not have been cleaned because the children had to wear socks after their baths because their feet would be black. We had trouble with the central air, the dishwasher & the pool heater, but the maintenance man was very nice and helpful. The silverware had ample knives and forks but only 4 spoons. The bedding included sheets and a sheet-like bedspread. There were blankets, but they were dirty and stained, so had to wash all the blankets prior to use. The home could have been better stocked with necessities, there was only 1 extra garbage bag in the kitchen, but maintenance provided another box when requested. The bathrooms were clean, the Fiestaware dishes were adorable. The pool area could have used some care-the grill was super small and full of grease (fire hazard). The patio needed to be power washed, and the lighting down there was poor. Finally, the patio door on the main floor did not have a window covering, which made eating in the dining area impossible as the sun was setting. Again, the home has so many possibilities -just needs a thorough cleaning and some amenities that you expect with a VRBO.
