Nothing unique. We were greated by a rude front desk person while trying to check in early. The parking lot was empty, but she wouldn't let us check in an hour early. She was quite jovial with the white woman before us, then she seen us and her demeanor changed 180. We thought she was just having a bad day, but every encounter with her was the same. We will not be staying here again.

Great little lodge
Clean comfy room. Breakfast was great. Friendly helpful staff. Hot tub was a little dirty on the sides but smelled like appropriate chemicals and the water was clear. Love it being attached to the gas station. Super convenient. Overall great experience. Would stay again.

We always stay at the White Pine Lodge when in the Munising area. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable and they have a microwave and a good sized fridge. The breakfast is good and there is a great restaurant right across the street for dinner and lunch if needed.

I liked it was right across the street from the ocean. There is a casino next door. Convenience store attached to the hotel. Nice restaurant across the street and another just down the road. Only 4 miles from Munising.

Quiet, spacious rooms, nice shower along with a breakfast that had plenty of choices to pick. The tv was on the small size but that was not why we were there.

Nice place to stay
Great place; was a little further out of town than we expected but overall a 3 mile drive not bad. Like the gas station and the convenience store attached. Employees were helpful with suggestions for food after we found out you can’t get delivery. The restaurant across the street foggy’s was great! We stayed 2 nights and the staff was great both nights. We didn’t have breakfast because there were a couple of places we wanted to check out but it looked nice.

Perfect place to explore the area
We stayed here after dropping our son off at NMU (about 45 minutes away) and wanted some time to explore Pictured Rocks. This was the perfect place to do this. The woman who checked us in was friendly, the room was large and comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful, and the location was convenient. We will stay here again.

Nice hotel in the UP. It's attached to a fuel station so having the convenience store right there is nice. Very close to furnace bay park, small casino, & nice steakhouse across the street. No complaints about the room, for a hotel in the upper peninsula it is very nice.

Need to add fresh fruit to breakfast. Rooms on odd numbers side could hear the traffic from the road all night long. Other than that will come back as long as Im on the even number side. They took very good care. Everyone of the personnel was very attentive very polite and very happy to assist. Nice Place Great prices. Can walk across road to eat and or walk to casino and can also eat there. Convenience store open 24 hours right at the hotel. Go White Pine Lodge!!!

Nice older style lodge
We found the the lodge to be perfectly serviceable for our needs. It has older rooms that were in a good state of upkeep. The breakfast is advertised as "continental" but it is a bit more with a waffle makers, although one of the two waffle makers was broken. It is located next to a small casino which is a plus or minus depending on your perspective.

We slept wonderful! It was quiet, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The gentleman and woman that checked us in and out were friendly, kind, and personable. The breakfast consisted of: bread, bagels, muffins, danishes, oatmeal, waffles, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and apple/orange juices.
