Beautiful

Off the beaten path without being too far from everything. Great amenities, very clean. There was plenty of room so everyone didnt have to feel like we were right on top of each other. Loved that it was on the end of the road so not a lot of traffic at all. Cant beat the amazing sunset views!! Host was very accommodating and easy to reach if needed. Would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect Ski House

Brooke was a fantastic host! We were able to get into the property easily, and the kitchen is actually stocked - unlike some other homes that say they are but are not. The beds were comfortable - another big plus and the view was spectacular! We had the perfect ski getaway, and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would rent this home again and again! Thank you Brooke for being such a wonderful host.

Great snow weekend

Great house lots of room!! Fireplaces heated all the rooms up so quickly!! Hot tub was great! Game room was awesome! The views from the double decks amazing!!! Stunning!! The lights on the small tree out front were super cute in the snow!! Would have liked to have had a few more items in kitchen for leftovers like foil or seran wrap. And certain areas of the house were dusty with dead bugs.Overall a great time close to Hatley Pointe. My son did snowboarding lessons and it was great! We enjoyed our daily walks with our dog Walter and it was quiet and the break we needed!!! We will be back!

The Best Family Trip!

Amazing views! Beautiful Home! Nicely decorated! Excellent communication! Prime Location! Short distance to Ashville, Johnson City, Weaverville, Hatley Pointe and Burnsville. Had a blast skiing and Snow tubing! We enjoyed sliding down the hill. Was so excited to have the opportunity for our entire family (fur baby too) to be together under one roof! So many memories were made. Pool table, checkers, foosball, puzzles, darts…so much to do! Not enough time!! It’s important to note that Walmart and Instacart WILL deliver!! We def took advantage of this in order to maximize our time at the cabin. Kitchen was stocked!! We practically moved in! Can’t wait to return!

Winter getaway

This property is definately a place we will return. The owners were amazing, with a small issue that came up (nothing that they could control) they immediately had someone on site to take care of it without interrupting our stay and communicated with us through the whole thing. This is definately owned by people who want the best for their guests and take care of them like family. If you are debating on a few places this is definately the place to stay. It was decorated for Christmas and a big bonus were the sucer sleighs for the kids. Thank you again to our hosts, it is definately a trip we will not forget!

The Perfect Escape Cabin

Our family spent Thanksgiving week at Stillpoint Cabin and we enjoyed every minute. It was one of our best vacations together. From the gorgeous views, to the hot tub, to the cozy fireplaces, to the spacious game room- everyone had plenty of space and we spent almost every night playing games or watching football. We even drove into Asheville to see a movie and stopped at the Twisted Laurel for dinner- highly recommend. We do appreciate the owners checking in with us and double checking we had everything we needed. This is the perfect family cabin to get away! Thanks again for having us!

Perfect mountain cabin

Brooke was awesome with fast response time and great communication! She allowed us to book with short notice and even gave us the chance to check in early. The view from the cabin was amazing as it overlooks the gorgeous mountains. Our family enjoyed all the amenities especially the pool table and hot tub. The master bathroom was beautiful and kitchen was perfect and well equipped. We can’t say enough about the cabin. The only thing I would advise other travelers is when you first arrive, try to get to the cabin before sunset (i.e. check in on time) because on the first ascent up the mountain, the turns can be a little tricky to navigate in the dark. We arrived late but were able to manage fine. Thank you for sharing your space with us!!

We had a great time at Stillpoint Cabin. The house sits at the top of the mountain and the views from the deck are incredible. Asheville is an easy drive but there is so much to see around the area it’s almost unnecessary. Whether you’re looking for an adventurous hike or a peaceful getaway, Stillpoint Cabin will not disappoint. We’ll definitely be back.

Great Cabin for the family getaway

Very nice cabin in the Blue Ridge mountains in close proximity to several cool mountain towns. It was very clean and well maintained, with plenty of activities for our teenage kids, and was well stocked for cooking and preparing meals. The cabin was also off on its own at the end of a dead end road, so there was plenty of privacy and amazing views. The property managers we very responsive with communication. 4-wheel drive vehicles are a must if your going in the winter. The roads to get there are steep and narrow, with some hairpin turns. We got a light snow, and the roads were very slick for a short period of time until they got them cleared and salted. They were very good at getting them cleared, though.

Weekend Getaway with Friends

This place was perfect for our group - plenty of space and well stocked kitchen and bathrooms had soap and shampoo/conditioner as well! Gorgeous views and great area downstairs with pool table and bar area along with a hot tub. Brooke and Chuck are great hosts and responded quickly to any questions we had and even provided us a plan for dealing with an unexpected winter storm warning since one of our cars did not have all wheel drive. We enjoyed playing games, putting puzzles together and hiking around the property -- you can easily hike to the ski runs near the house. We went in to Asheville one day and also hiked nearby around the lake and bird sanctuary at Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary. Would definitely stay here again - would be very convenient for skiing/snowboarding as well!

A Wonderful, White Christmas

We just returned from a wonderful Christmas stay at this fabulous mountain house and the review is in--TWO HUGE Thumbs Up! Great views, Great Location, Very Clean, Accommodating for a large group (in our case 3 families with 6 adults and 3 kids); and well-appointed with amenities! I knew I loved a hot tub, but I am now researching an in-house sauna! The entire home was so warm and welcoming, making for a very memorable Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning. By the way, the house was nicely decorated for the holidays, which made it feel more like home. We loved the fact that there were walking trails right outside the front door, a feature that was made more important and memorable with the snowfall we experienced (yes, a white Christmas) and with a dog. Also, while the place is conveniently located to skiing (Wolf Ridge), the winter weather made driving a bit challenging (we did not have an AWD/4x4). Instead, we just used the hiking paths to walk down to Ski the Wolf...very easy if in shape. Lastly, in my experience with vacation rentals, communication with the owner can make or break an experience. Brooke was amazingly responsive and very helpful. One of the best owners I have encountered. Brooke, you Homeplace Brewery recommendation was spot on (just wish I had purchased a few more 4/6-packs to take home. Thank you!! This is a great place!
