Our visit to Hope Cabin 3/22 - 3/25

Wonderfully quiet and relaxing. Close to the parks. We enjoyed the cabin’s coziness and the fire pit and grill were perfect! Beds not very comfortable.

Cozy Woodland Getaway

I spent a winter weekend here alone. It was a great break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. I really enjoyed snuggling up with a good book and some hot tea to enjoy the serenity of the wilderness.

Sweet Retreat

This little cabin in the woods is the perfect spot for a moment away from the chaos of life. The cabin was originally built for hunting and converted into a tiny home. The details in the listing were extremely helpful in knowing what to expect.

Hope was GREAT!

A very warm experience. Hope Cabin was in a nice, quiet and secluded place. Warm and cozy on the inside. Driving distance to all major Hocking Hills trails. Great arrival instructions that led you to cabin front door. Great communication with property manager. Hope to be back soon! :-)

Anniversary getaway

This cabin is a wonderful place to stay for a peaceful trip in Hocking Hills. The cabin is just enough if you're looking for a rustic location without staying in a tent. It is as described, so make sure to read the details. The kitchenette is small but perfect for making breakfasts before hiking.The property is gorgeous!!! It was lovely to sit around the fire at night, and wake up to the sunrise through the trees. You can see so many stars standing in the meadow beside the cabin. Most of the trails are within a 20 minute drive from this location. It was perfect for our first trip to Hocking Hills! We would definitely stay here again.

Nicely private and quaint.

The location of the property was excellent for peace and quiet. We had all the amenities to make the long weekend a success. The folks managing the property were attentive and kind. The loft may be a challenge for some to access, but we managed just fine. The location is close to many sites of interest.

Wonderful pet friendly accommodations

Amazing cabin in the woods that allows pets. The driveway to the cabin is very steep. If you have a 4x4 you will be fine. Trees everywhere. Even though there are 6 other cabins on the property, you won't see them from this cabin. Very close to Hocking Hills State Park, and hours of hiking. Only negative was we found dirty panties under the trundle bed, so better cleaning in between guest could be done.

The location was great. The cabin was cozy and nice. The only issue was it wasn't very clean. Cobwebs, poop on the toilet, a used Band-Aid it the shower.

Three Generation Girls Getway

The only negative was the driveway being quite steep and sharp bends. Once in the setting of the cabin it is a very nice. All the outdoor experiences we wanted to visit were easy to get to. Thank you for good memories.

Hope cabin

This is a sweet little cabin in the Woods that was comfortable and well-equipped. The problem we had was the steps. The steps to The loft are very steep and my knees are bad so I was unable to go upstairs to the large bed. However the large bed is on the floor, without a bed frame, so it might not have been very comfortable anyway. Additionally the steps outside into the cabin are rather steep, especially the very first step from the ground. They really need to add some dirt there. The only other criticism I had was the need for stone in the driveway. The driveway is steep and winding and the ruts are very bad. But the cabin itself was lovely and light and friendly. The owner was there in a very short time, when we had a question. bed frame.

Enjoyable experience

We enjoyed our stay at Hope Cabin. Due to an unfortunate weather event, we had a small issue. I texted Connie and someone showed up within 5 minutes of my text and the issue was resolved expeditiously. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at the hope cabin! They are dog friendly and the areas around the cabin are also dog friendly which was great! We ate at Papa Dias pizza and it was amazing only about a 10min drive. Some tips for this cabin for those who will be staying... we were going to bring our jeep but unfortunately we got a flat tire a day before we were set to leave so we decided to bring our AWD bmw car. The roads around are very windy so be careful. The road to the cabin is all gravel and there is parking up at the top but there is a steep gravel hill you can drive down to go close to the cabin. (I only fell once) lol. Our car made it up and down the hill but we were terrified we were going to pop a tire. So just a heads up an all wheel drive vehicle will be fine going down that steep gravel hill but if your vehicle car or suv is not all wheel or 4 wheel drive park at the top. We will be deff coming to stay again!!!

Beautiful Hocking Hills

We loved the Hocking Hills and our visit to the state park. We loved the remoteness of our cabin. Unfortunately the cabin was more glamping than I signed up for. No indoor table for eating or playing games! It rained a bunch while we were there. Common amenities weren’t available. We would definitely visit the area again but not this cabin.
