DO NOT rent anything that is managed by a VACASA Management company. The night of our arrival the keypad to the house did not work. We tried calling and texting our contact person/number several times and no one answered or helped us! We had to check into a local hotel. Not only did VACASA not fully reimburse us for that night but they DID NOT do the right thing and pay our hotel expenses either. Regardless of time arrived or even if it is a holiday someone should be ON CALL at all times. Our family was left stranded outside of a home late at night with no way to enter. We fully paid the rent, flew across several states, drove in 2 hours from airport, arrived in the freezing cold and dark, unable to get in and having to find a hotel to stay in was very disappointing! VACASA was very hard to contact and get through to after the trip to dispute the situation. Also a comment was made in the reviews several weeks to our arrival about the outdoor fire pit not working. You would think they would have fixed it but it did not work! We have had a VRBO rental home ourselves for 6+ years and I would be doing everything possible to make my guests comfortable and this management group does not care about its guests or making things right! I’m sure if the owner was aware of this situation on their rental property and guest they would be disappointed as well and making things right! Bad business on VACASA’s part. We will not be renting any VACASA managed properties in the future.
