Do not stay here on a Saturday night if you want to sleep. The night club inside the building blasts the music obscenely loud all throughout the night and into the morning. The music did NOT stop until 5am. I left feeling very sick from only 3 hours of sleep. Was very unpleasant. The staff and reception were all pleasant and the hotel itself was clean and good amenities.

It is a lovely hotel BUT I stayed a Friday night and the nightclub next to it was playing extremely loud music from 10pm to 5am. So loud you could hear on the 4th floor with noise cancelling headphones. Apart from that it is a clean and nice hotel in a good location

It's a "I loved it however" situation. The building is charming and old: also means the soundproofing is minimal. They have warned us about club noises before booking, but it's the extend that as an Asian it surprised me. I didn't mind because I'm hearing impaired, and I can feel the windows shaking from the club noise until around midnight. I slept well because again, I'm hearing poor so to me it's like sleeping on a train. I don't know how many others would feel this way.

Good location
Located centrally in Melbourne. Studio room was fine and i didn’t feel cramped. No issues with the bathroom although i would have liked brighter lighting for putting on make up. There was a full length mirror and Room for luggage. And yes, there is a nightclub next door. i was on the top floor and could still hear the noise on the Saturday night. however i was warned about it before so it was no surprise. i use a white noise app so slept with no issues but i could see how it could be a problem for others. i would have no hesitation staying here again. There is also a bottle shop and 7/11 downstairs so that makes it very handy.
