We stayed there before our cruise out of New Orleans. This was the best stay we've had in a long time at a hotel. Staff was great. The evening dinner was nice with the free drinks. Room was nice and clean and beds very comfortable. The best thing however was that I forgot to take my extra insulin with me when we left. It was in the fridge. I didn't realize until the next day after we sailed. I'm type 2 and controlled so I made do with what I had on me. I didn't have phone service on the cruise. On our trip home I just took a chance to stop by and ask about it and they saved it for me. Absolutely the best. If travel brings me back to the area I will definitely stay there again.

After a long drive, the Drury was a welcome oasis! The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The room clean and inviting. The Drury had every detail covered to make my stay comfortable, right down to the fresh hot popcorn in the lobby :-).

We were 4 minutes early for drinks and hors d’oeuvres we got a very unfriendly response us and others , it made you feel like you were a beggar. Then she turned on the lights I guess that was the signal that it was time. She did change her attitude to friendly then. We all thought her response could have been much nicer. Like as soon as the lights go on it will be time. Like I said before she was kinda rude ! And then she changed I got my husband to get my drink bc I didn’t want to deal with her. Our last stay we tipped $5.00 this time nothing 😏

We arrived late after an Alabama football game. Receptionist was prompt, polite and efficient. The facility was clean and the room generous with ample space to relax after a long day. One elevator was out for maintenance but we did not experience any wait or delays for the working unit both in the evening and the next morning. Breakfast the next morning was ok; however, the area was very clean and the attendants friendly and constantly cleaning the area. All-in-all this is why I have chosen Drury Inn in the past and will so again.
