The one shining light here is the breakfast queen who works here. She is delightful and greets everyone with a hug and a “How are you doing today, beautiful?” Which is so rare and unexpected in a rushed and hasty hotel morning!! She went and refilled the coffee carafe just so I could have it freshly brewed… So nice!! The beds are great and I love the sunny shampoo and conditioners here, too.

Perfect for a short stay....
First, Annette who manages the breakfast was fabulous! She was an unexpected, fun way to start the day. What she is paid, she deserves a raise. Great place for a one or two night stay - new, shiny, and clean. It's a bit barebones for a longer stay. That's my only complaint.

The staff was amazing. I've stayed all over the country. This will be my stop when I return to Merrillville. The lady who prepared the breakfast was warm and inviting. It was exactly what I needed after getting off the road. The front desk staff was great.

Good place.
It was pretty good. The staff is so kind, lovely. The breakfast is simple but fair. The pool is a good place to take a break and enjoy, barely to relax at the end of the day.
