One night in messina
Stayed one night like a lot of hotel in cities in Sicily reception and rooms on first floor. Room excellent staff at hotel friendly. Stayed only one night. Messina city didn’t come to life to nine at night we went out at eight and restaurants just opening but cathedral nearby and got lively later. 20 minutes walk from railway station Good breakfast usual ham cheese etc but some nice local cakes as well. Wi-Fi good Would recommend again

Small but spacious and immaculate hotel
This very small hotel is immaculately decorated and our room was very large and comfortable. Bed was great and so was the shower. The staff were very competent and friendly and breakfast was great although it could have been more relaxed. Having been asked the night before to choose what we wanted we felt that we were being watched carefully to check that we were eating the right things. Overall, though, the food was great as was everything else here.

This is a B&B, although I did not see that on listing. It is located an an upper floor of an apartment building, which is fine, but it was difficult to gain entry. Small sign out front, so look carefully. Meager supply of toiletries, so consider bringing your own. My "Comfort Room" was simple but adequate. One must preorder breakfast menu; there is no buffet. Staff offers good service. Best feature is the excellent location, a few blocks from the harbor and in a quiet, lovely neighborhood. There are not many good hotel choices in the central city, so consider this B&B.

The property is a floor within a lovely old building. Rooms are nicely decorated and spacious. Unfortunately we discovered our air con didn't work the first night. We spoke to reception first thing in the morning and they promised to get someone to look at it. Got back that night and the reception staff on duty didn't know about this issue and nothing had been done to try and fix it. The evening receptionist was wonderful, tried to get someone out but it turned out whole unit needed replacing. They had no other rooms so moved us to another hotel close by. Shame they didn't check the aircon themselves as part of room check but can't fault their resolution.

The reception staff were outstanding.They picked us up from the train station,directed us to the most wonderful local celebrations, found me ice for my sprain and got us a taxi in a hurry.The breakfast was excellent.Our room was airy and clean.

Ottima posizione
Posizione centrale, facile da raggiungere. Parcheggio auto in strada 5€ al giorno. In un antico palazzo messinese, tutto l'arredamento è in stile con l'edificio. La ragazza alla reception è davvero gentile, premurosa che tutto vada bene. Accoglienza perfetta, ci si sente a casa. Camera ampia, letto e cuscini comodi. Acqua in stanza offerta. Bagno grande, kit presente ma forse qualche bagnoschiuma e shampoo in più non sarebbe male. Colazione da ordinare il giorno prima, mi piace l'idea di evitare gli sprechi. I cornetti però non sono caldi. Le ragazze fanno un po' confusione con le ordinazioni, anche se poi si può chiedere quello che si vuole in più. Tutto sommato va più che bene.
