The Brown Pub is the ideal location for a cost effective holiday. I've stayed here a number of times and keep coming back. Remember, it's a pub so it goes off like a frog in a sock on Friday and Saturday nights - so either be part of the celebrations or wear ear plugs !! The staff are sensational - going that extra mile even into the wee hours of the morning. The rooms are clean and warm, the kitchen is great, stacks of hot water in the showers... and the WiFi is faster than at home ! Everything you could possibly need for a short stay or a family holiday. I'll be back.

Suited us perfectly. Centrally situated. Staff most helpful and great to deal with. Kitchen to make tea/coffee was good. Only downside it is a joint bathroom and toilet, but is still most convenient as close to bedrooms.

Nice and central in methven clean nice room downsides were blue pub very noisy over the road live music went on until nearly midnight could do with more blankets on beds as gets chilly during night duvet was very thin
