Pros:
1. Unit is renovated, clean and well appointed.
2. Hotel is nice with 24 hour valet service (free to renters). We found no waits with the valet service and the valet staff was very nice and accommodating.
3. Hotel Mutiny is in a safe walkable area of Cococut Grove close to all shops and restaurants.
Cons:
1. No balcony or views. Unit is on 4th floor above the parking lot, however, lush tree greenery is what you see out of the window.
2. TVs in the unit are on a Roku channel and you need subscriptions for apps like Netflix. No live cable TV channels (couldn't watch Sunday football games or live news like Fox, CNN, or cable channels like HGTV, Discovery, etc.)
3. We come down to Miami once a month and usually rent at the Arya which doesn't have a restaurant or bar on premises. Chose Munity because they do. However, the restaurant is not typical. Very small with no patrons. No pool service, you have to go inside and ask for drinks. The bartender took our breakfast order like it was the first time anyone asked for food and brought it out by the pool dining tables in plastic boxes vs plate service. Closed early with no predictability so if you wanted to have a drink by the pool or after coming from dinner, forget it. Will go back to Arya and just use the many bars on the street which are open, nice vibe and better than what we found at the Mutiny.
