All the staff was friendly and corteous. Kevin at the front desk was especially helpful . Would highly recommend this location for anyone visiting UM or just taking a break in Miami.

I usually like staying here as my son is a UM student and it’s close to the metro rail. Unfortunately my younger son and I got stuck in the elevator on the 6th floor. They did nothing to ensure no one else got on that elevator even after talking to the front desk twice. The stairs are a concern as well since they lead outside and are not interior.

This was a typical Hampton inn property and everything is as you’d expect from a hotel of this level. Nothing special but not bad either. Only thing to note is parking was $22 a night, but this seems to be the norm in Miami.
