I enjoyed my stay at the Kimpton Surfcomber. The only thing was that they are undergoing construction on the 1st floor and it can be loud. They need to make the walls more soundproof because you can hear people talking outside when they walk by. Overall the staff was friendly and everything was walkable and convenient if you don’t want to go too far from South Beach

Great service, the entire staff were friendly and helpful! The pool area and beach were beautiful. They even put a towel to cover the chairs on for you. Lots of restaurants and shopping to walk to. The rooms themselves were average - but they were clean and the beds were comfy. Another nice touch was the coffee bar they had out in the morning. We will be back!

lol didn’t realize this place was going to be an active construction site during our stay. Floors covered in plastic with dust and debris everywhere. Our shower reeked of rotten eggs and after alerting the staff, nothing changed. The water was turned off sporadically throughout our stay. Room keys didn’t work for some of our group. There was a terrible smell throughout the hotel. Do not stay here if you’re expecting to get your money’s worth. The staff were great, along with the pool and the location.

We won’t be back
We had to lug our heavy suitcases up the stairs to get to our room on the first floor. Second and third floor rooms have an elevator. The room was clean enough, but there’s no chair other than the desk chair. I didn’t like that there was nowhere except the floor to lay out an open suitcase. And the bathroom is awful. Very tiny- the shower has no door or curtain, so when you get out of the shower, everything is wet. Not a comfortable place to get ready for the day. We won’t be back.
