A for the pool area. Comfy loungers, super attentive staff, delicious food and drinks. Pool was clean and heated. Room was definitely small and dated but we didn't mind as we spent the majority of our stay outside. Very walkable to surrounding coffee shops and restaurants.

It's a great Art Deco hotel, excellent location, relatively affordable and I love being on the boardwalk. Only downside was the construction from the Delano next door (it looks like it will be ongoing for a while), and construction on the beach due to an upcoming food festival. they were putting up tents

We have stayed at The National a few times because we love it so much. The vibe is just really cool, it's quiet and very convenient to where we like to go. I love that it's and adults only hotel because it just never gets loud. I'd highly recommend a Cabana room overlooking the pool. The patio is so nice and the view of the pool is great.
