The staff was amazing, they were above and beyond, big big plus. If you need to use internet or try to watch TV, forget it, this is not your place, never worket for 1 minute on our stay. Place is old but clean and again, the staff makes the stay super pleasant.

Very nice place close to Muscle Beach and Coconuts tiki bar. Lots of food, restaurant choices around. Clean and spacious. Blass was there at 11 to welcome us and he provided a lot of much needed city information on the first day. Not too far not too close to main attractions. We enjoyed our stay.

Let’s start with the cons - the front desk was unavailable more often than not, and it was sometimes difficult to find the host if you had questions. Also, the tap water quality was debatable, and shower water pressure was not great. Finally, if you arrive before check-in time, you may have to wait a while in the city before you can access your room. However, everything else about this hotel was great. Considering its location, the price was a steal. It’s right in the centre of South Beach, steps from Ocean Drive and from all sorts of restaurants and nightclubs. Rooms were regularly cleaned well. The owner (when he was available) was professional, helpful, and friendly. Overall, my stay was comfortable and clean. Aside from those minor grievances I mentioned above, this was a comfortable and affordable 2-star that met all our needs.

The entrance to the property is down an alley. There is no lobby and there was no staff to greet us. Everything was locked. When a receptionist did arrive she was extremely rude. A "refundable damage deposit " which was to be refunded to my credit card never happened. The place was left clean. Trash was even picked up and nicely packaged for easy clean up. The front gate was locked during "open" hours. I would never recommend anyone staying here. I plan a vacation to south beach every year and like to try a new art deco hotel stay... this property will definitely be on my "not return " list

You’ll feel right at home :)
When I book a place in South Beach, I try to be prepared for disappointments. Stardust turned out to be such a nice surprise! Wonderful friendly staff. Simple yet well equipped, spotless and spacious rooms with a kitchenette. Cold air, large fridge, lots of hanger space. And all this at an excellent location, close to everything, yet with peace and quiet.

Dirty Nightmare with no where else to go
First Time in Miami. When we arrived the room was dirty, the beds were filthy and not made up. We had to go find someone to take the dirty sheets off the bed and clean the room as we stood and watched. Boxsprings on the beds were filthy with stains (wet) and looked like someone just waste or did whatever on them. I should have charged them an incidental fee. Please have them return mines asap. I took pictures when I opened the door, thought they gave me a key to somebody else room. I went to Target and bought my own cleaning products. What a birthday weekend nightmare

Clean & Convenient
The hotel looks like it used to be studio apartments, and will have a good size fridge and a microwave. We don't drink coffee, so I don't recall the coffee set up. The rooms are large and clean, even if they may have too many layers of paint. It's set back from the street behind a gate (open during the day) and a small path. Elevator is small and slow but enough for a couple and their luggage to make it up in one trip. There is a flight of stairs on the opposite end. Blas was friendly and thorough at check in. Stardust isn't modern or glam, but it is clean, convenient, and secure. So, it's a good choice for South Beach. Ocean Dr. a block or two away, and the ocean just a block further into the sand. All the noise is far enough away to sleep peacefully, but the hot spots are within walking distance. Security Deposit was refunded as stated, charges were all correct. We'd definitely stay there again. Parking note: It looks like parking is limited to a few street spots. Parking anywhere on South Beach is pricey. We just Ubered from the airport, and everything was within walking distance of the hotel.

We arrived early and Suzy was quick to accommodate us. The room was large and very clean. The beds were comfortable. Located in the heart of the Deco area of Miami Beach there was lots to see and do. Unfortunately I got sick on day 3 and staff were kind and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing a simple yet comfortable stay in Miami Beach.

I wasn’t quite sure about the property at first. Pretty lack luster from exterior and lobby, but they actually seemed to have taken care of the rooms. I picked this room with a budget in mind and am ultimately pleased with my stay. For reference on my comments, I typically stay in Hilton properties (diamond a couple years), but wanted to keep costs low for my two nights. This property does not have anywhere to store your bags after checkout, so be aware you’ll need to find other options if you have a late flight out and want to enjoy the beach for the day.
