Central, comfortable hotel.
The hotel is well located with excellent travel links. Check-in was quick and friendly. We had a triple room and, although not particularly big, was adequate for our needs. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows provided if needed. The breakfast was also very good.
We might’ve rated higher but there was just a couple of things that we weren’t very happy with. There was a couple of members of staff that we found a little rude and on a couple of days some breakfast items weren’t replenished. We were only provided with two of everything in the room despite it being a triple room booked for three people. Not a big problem when you can ask for extra but when you need to justify why you want an extra towel but not hand over a used one it is a bit irritating. Our air conditioning unit started leaking water on the first night so we had to go without. We were advised to open a window but between the smoke coming in one window from the non-smoking room next door and the potential for bugs this was not a viable option. The issue was fixed the next day and we had no further trouble with it. We got a great deal on this room so felt like we got value for money but if we had paid the full rate I would’ve been quite disappointed. I would stay here again but only if I could secure the same low rate.
