Would be excellent if cleaned better

The hotel was quiet, the staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable, the shower had great power - these things we enjoyed. Also the door to close to separate bedroom from rest of unit was very nice. I skipped the “ecofriendly” question cause I have no idea and don’t care about such. I had 3 rooms for family members, we were there for my dad’s funeral. The location is excellent, lots of restaurants and stores close by. Sadly the cleanliness was greatly lacking. I scraped food or something off kitchen countertop, also bathroom sink. Would love to have had a bath but there was no way I was sitting in that filthy tub. There were even some sort of bracelets or something on the shower rod from someone else. Debris not swept on the floor.

During check in the lady had no name tag, was very unpleasant, never told us the pool/hot tub was closed. We asked for some extra pillows as i have to sleep elevated. The lady was rude and said there are 5 or 6 pillows already in your room. Once we got to our room there was a huge hole in the bathroom door. The pull out couch was still made from the last occupants but the bed was folded back into a couch. There was no steak knives for my husband to cut his steak. We stayed at this exact location the last 4 years and have always ordered steak and there were knives to use. We got ready to use the pool/hot tub and there was a sign on the door that it was closed on a Weekend. We tried to see why it was closed but the front desk lady was nowhere to be found and no phone or bell to alert staff. We went back up to our room and tried calling down to the front desk and no asnswer. We called twice. This was the worst service ever at this location. Breakfast was terrible. The hot stuff was cold and no cutlery unless you asked. But good luck finding staff. Come to find out it was the same lady that checked us in the day before.

I stayed in the king jacuzzi room last night and had a few issues. Upon opening the pull out bed there was a dirty pair of underwear right on the bed and the mattress was stained with what looked like blood and pee. There was no set of sheets or blankets so we had to go downstairs and ask for them ourselves. The pullout bed was broken at the end of the frame, the mattress falls in between two bars. The jacuzzi area smelled very musty as well. We could only find one remote for all 3 TVs, we didn't find the others until we were leaving the next morning because they were hidden. The bathtub was filling with water during a shower because the drain wasn't working very well. We told the front desk person about our experiences but he said he was not able to fix the issue because there wasn't a manager there.
