The Western Sands is a Beautiful brand new 4 Bed/4 Bath home in an upscale gated neighborhood in Miramar Beach/Destin. This home, in the new and highly sought after gated community of the Villas of Frangista Beach, is all set for your family beach vacation!

Relax with comfortable modern furnishings in the downstairs dining and living areas with real wood floors and tile throughout, smart TVs, and a well equipped designer kitchen. There are four large tastefully designed beach-vibe bedrooms, each with a flat screen HDTV, WiFi access, super comfortable memory foam mattresses and ceiling fans for a great nights rest! Walk to the beach, pool, local coffee and great local dining. Centrally located just minutes from the beach, restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, groceries, golf, fishing and water sports. This is an amazing beach community home in a new gated neighborhood. Room for 4 vehicles in driveway. A community pool is located around the corner and private beach access is only a 1 minute drive or an easy 5-10 minute walk and available to all renters during their stay. -Soft Surfaces like couches, couch pillows & comforters are getting sanitized as well.
-Linens of course always get properly cleaned, and fresh sets brought after each guest checkout. So guests get all fresh sheets, towels and bath mats.

Our vacation was fantastic! The house was very clean and exactly as advertised. The kitchen had all of the dishes, cooking tools, etc that we needed. There was a cooler, beach chairs, floats, etc available. The pool was the perfect size with plenty of pool chairs, table and grill. We were able to use the golf cart to go to the beach but also close enough to walk if we wanted. We happen to be there during hurricane Helene and the host checked in on us to be sure we were ok and to see if we needed anything. Luckily, we were far enough away from any impact from the storm. We wound definitely go back and would recommend this house to others.

Very nice home with great amenities.
Overall we had a nice stay but some suggestions to make stay even better, need luggage stand in downstairs bedroom, corners of rug in family room were unglued and caused tripping, no closet in master bedroom, should provide dishwasher pods for at least 5 days, and some dining room chairs were kind of wabbly.

Wonder home!
Our family stayed June 8-16, 2024. 6 adults and 4 kids. We had a wonderful time, and the home was everything we could have imagined. Very clean, well-furnished and decorated. Neighborhood was nice and for the most part, peaceful. Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay, clean, tons of amenities!
This place was beautiful! The pool was perfect for our family. Plenty of bath towels and extra beach towels that were put to great use. The three beach chairs allowed us to travel with less. Lots of beach toys for my little niece. Loved the golf cart and how many places that could be accessed on it! No tents were allowed on the private beach so we drove down about 5 mins to the public access which was very nice! We loved all of the games that came in the house. We played a board game or cards every night! Cooking was a breeze thanks to all of the cookware, bakeware and utensils. We couldn’t find a single thing that was missing. Would highly recommend and would stay again!!

Wonderful Family Trip
House was clean, spacious, and well appointed. Everything was exactly as advertised. You can tell the owners really take pride in their home and provided lots of extra ammenties which we appreciated. My kids loved the pool. Modern kitchen was great for the nights we cooked dinner. The golf cart which came with the house was a nice bonus as we used it to go back and forth to the beach, restaurants, and ice cream. First time visiting this part of Florida and it is very lovely with its beautiful beaches and laid back vibe. The only negative aspect of the trip was that there was a lot of “partying” teens/college aged kids spending Spring break in the area/neighborhood…so there was some behaviors on display that weren’t family friendly. Of course, that has nothing to do with the house or owner. One very small suggestion from the girls in my family is that addition of full length mirror in house would be good to have. Overall, it was a great stay and a great spot. Would definitely be interested in renting this home again.

This house was perfect for my family (7 adults). We stayed for a week in February and it was perfect. The heated pool was amazing and the perfect way to start or end the day. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and beautiful with a couple ponds that made for a great dog walk. Everything is within a golf cart ride, very easy to park a car and only use the cart for the entire stay. My whole family can't stop talking about how perfect this house was and are already talking about going back. A great stay with everything you need, very clean, and very responsive hosts.

We only work with them!
This is our third time staying with Eric and Jessica because we love their attention to detail so much! The house that we usually rent was already booked, but we trust them so much that we had NO doubts in renting a different place with them! We have not had great experiences with other properties and/or management companies in the past, and didn't want to take the gamble with somebody new. The Western Sands did not disappoint! We usually try to look for a ranch style house to avoid the stairs, but this house had a full bathroom and bedroom on the bottom floor by the kitchen, so it was not a problem for us. I loved the style and decorations. The kitchen was fully stocked with so many items that we weren't missing anything. They DO NOT pick out skimpy bathroom towels in their houses, which I really appreciate! They also provided about a dozen separate pool towels, which helps with suitcase space. It was very clean!! The overall quality of everything is just better. As far as the neighborhood goes, it is gated and nice. Pavered streets and driveways which gives it a cozy touch. We did our trip in the winter this time so it was very quiet with no traffic. We were about 4-5 minutes from the Outlet mall, which I loved! And there is a little Coffee Shop right outside the neighborhood gate on the beach road. I did notice that this neighborhood does have a community pool, but we did not use it because of our private pool, and the pool heater works great! We'll be back!

We stayed here in August and had a great trip. The weather was perfect. Beaches were beautiful property was everything I expected. I was impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked with pots, dishes, and everything we needed from baking to cooking. The kids enjoyed the pool! Would stay here again.

House was perfect! Good proximity to the beach and the golf cart was a huge plus! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking. We lucked out with having perfect weather all week. It was great spending the day at the beach then coming back to the house and lounging by the pool with a cocktail. Great location in a quiet neighbor just a short golf ride away from the beach and shops ! The kitchen was fully stocked we wanted for nothing . There was plenty of extras we didn’t expect like a high hair ,portable crib, beach wagon , ice chest , pool floaters and plenty of beach towels . The beds were comfy and the linens were luxurious. We would definitely recommend .

Everything we needed!
We had 8 people and we stayed at The Lovely Western Sands for the week of June 17-24 and it was everything we could have dreamed of plus more! This was the cleanest VRBO I’ve been in and it had the most stocked kitchen! We cook a lot while staying in Destin since the wait times are so long at restaurants and we had every appliance, utensil, pan, etc that we needed! It was also nice to have extra beach towels and beach chairs. We had very disappointing weather and there were several double red flag days, so the pool saved us! My kids were obsessed with the pool…the backyard is amazing. We were also so pleased with how clean the pool stayed all week long even with storms! We also all had a such a blast with the golf cart! It was so nice getting to use it to go to nearby areas and to the beach! The location of the house was perfect with several things nearby… and the whole neighborhood is so pretty! Jessica’s communication was top notch and we look forward to hopefully booking with her again! The only very very small thing that we all noticed that we would change was how firm the beds were. Again, it wasn’t something we couldn’t deal with but we don’t prefer firm beds. But we were so tired from having fun all day that we still slept well! Thanks Jessica and we can’t wait to come back!!

The Western Sands is a great value, and would highly recommend! It’s in a perfect location with it only being a few blocks away from the beach, near a gas station, several grocery stores, and a coffee shop. The deeded beach access was nice, because it was on a section of the beach that wasn’t overly crowded right between Whale Tails and Pompano Joes. This was also a perk if you want to walk down and grab a drink from either of their beach bars. The complimentary golf cart was a huge plus. It made the trips to the beach a breeze, and we enjoyed taking a nightly cruise with our pups and stopping and several places to take walks. The home was well stocked with everything that one could want. The hosts were super responsive with the couple of questions we had while we were down there.

Wonderful property!
Had 6 adults stay here Wed-Sun and this house was perfect for us. What you see in the listing is exactly what you get and more. The pool was bigger than expected and we loved spending time out there in the mornings and evenings in between the beach and trips to crab island. The house is well stocked and the beds are very comfortable (firm just how I like). The host is great, and very responsive. Overall we had a great time and would love to come back.

Perfect little vacation house near the beach!!!
Western Sands house was absolutely amazing!!! Short term rentals can be hit or miss these days with some hosts being wonderful to work with and some, not so much. Jessica is very thorough and detail oriented and the house is very thoughtfully stocked and supplied with essentials for family vacations. House is newer construction and very clean. High end finishes and spacious layout make this home very accommodating for families. They include a complimentary golf cart which makes staying at the beach very enjoyable and convenient. The private pool makes the home feel very luxurious and tucked away, even though you’re just a couple minutes from the private beach access. All in all, it was a perfect stay! We were in town for a conference but plan to come back for a longer stay with our fam jam. Thank you Jessica! We loved it!
