The room and it's amenities were great. Check in was a breeze.The parking lot was dark and unkept.
Bugs in the bed. Bugs in the floor. Carpets were filthy. Front desk person was annoyed that I was checking in at 9pm. She was more worried about her boyfriend who came back in. She through the cards in the counter and walked off. I’ve stayed here many times and the place has fallen apart and is FILTHY. Stay in Mitchell or Kimball if you can
Absolutely terrible. This place needs reported right away. Roaches infested the breakfast area and rooms. Air conditioning was not cooling at all, resulting in a very hot and sticky room. Did not even want to sleep there due to all of the bugs, but was already charged the room price. No screens on the window. No smoke detector- just exposed wires hanging from the ceiling which is probably against code. The toilet looked unclean in the bowl and still had hairs on the outside. Price was just as much as a properly maintained hotel. I would not suggest staying here, and definitely do not eat the infested food. Opened the fridge in the room and bugs went scattering everywhere. Hallways were trashed and unclean and the side door to the outside had no lock or key entry so anyone could walk right in. The parking lot was dark with no lights except for nearby truck-stop. This place is dangerous to both health and safety. Could not get out of there quick enough!

Needed help setting up TV, food & coffee hard to come by
Nobody was at the desk at 8 pm when we arrived. We pushed the call button and 15 minutes later a couple drove up in pajamas to check us in. The entire place was dirty and run down. Our pillows were disgusting, but thankfully we had our own since we had been camping. The room was dirty and the shower barely drained. I wish I had stopped at Chaimberlin instead. Don't stay here.
The sink had soap marks, indicating it had not been cleaned. The staff were kind and friendly but I was exhausted and the gentleman didn’t seem to have the ability to read the room.
I had incorrectly, somehow, got my reservation for a neighboring city. When I called they gave me a number to call for the owners son. He was kind enough to change the reservation to the correct city. When my Mom and I drove up to the property we could not believe what we saw. There was trash in the parking lot (kind of spread around), something looking like a mattress leaning against the building. The siding appeared to be coming off and the whole exterior was dirty. I had to pay for the night due to the last time to cancel. Oh, and the property did not have the Rodeway Inn name anymore. Assume they lost it. It was now Mitchell Motel. Scary looking place to two ladies.
This motel has 2 names. Don’t be fooled. It goes by Rodeway inn and Mitchell Inn. They are committing Fraud to the consumer. Expedia should not do business with them.
