Beautiful Menton
This is a beautiful French home, attractively decorated and very comfortable, in a quiet and peaceful part of the beautiful town of Menton, overlooking a wooded valley with views leading down to the sea. Brigitte was a fantastic host. The house was well equipped, she made sure that we had everything that we needed for the holiday and then left us to enjoy. Access to the house was a small, fairly steep path, about a 3 minute walk from parking. It added to the charm but, as Brigitte says in the listing, wouldn't work for anyone with accessibility requirements. There is a path into the main town but it's steep and we're not very fit! As it was the school holidays, we parked outside the school below, at the bottom of the hill. The town beaches were clean and the swimming was lovely. We were there at the height of summer so the Plage de Sablettes, in front of the old town, was busy, but the others weren't as full. The old town is at the other end of Menton so it's a pretty long walk through the town but there are lots of car parks around. There are pretty lanes to explore and lots of restaurants throughout the town, those in the tourist areas and on the seafront are fairly pricey. The best supermarket we found was the Intermarché above the school. The SNCF train station is about a 20-25 min walk away and the train service all along the coast is amazing and really good value for exploring. Une très belle semaine dans les hauteurs de Menton
Très beau séjour dans cette maison pleine de charme et au calme. Nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et les bons conseils de Brigitte nous ont rendu très facile et agréable cette semaine de vacances.

Schönes Haus, nicht ganz einfach zu erreichen
Ruhe und Natur - der Weg nach Menton ist aber sowohl zu Fuß als auch mit dem Auto nicht ganz einfach. Sehr nette Gastgeberin! Herzlicher Empfang und viele Tipps für Unternehmungen. Gern wieder.

Un trés beau lieu pour des vacances reposantes
Nous avons passé en super séjour, la maison est belle et facile à vivre. La climatisation au rez-de-chaussée de chaussée nous a permis d'encaisser les records de chaleur. Le cadre est superbe, nous avons apprécié prendre les repas ou les pauses sur la terrasse au calme et au naturel, le chant des cigales est un régal, et la compagnie des petits geckos le soir est adorable. Le petit trajet piéton de la voiture à la maison est certes un peu sportif, mais rien de très d'extravagant dans cette région escarpée. A la fin du séjour on ne le sentait presque plus ! L'accès en voiture est sportif aussi, la petite route cimentée est sinueuse et très raide (mais pas très longue), il m'a fallu désactiver l"ESP pour passer la dernière côte, mais une fois qu'on a pris le coup de main, rien de bien terrible. Le stationnement en haut est à l'ombre d'oliviers et la voiture était moins chaude que prévu, c'était agréable. La maison donne l'impression d'être dans l'arrière pays, alors qu'on est à 5 minutes du supermarché en voiture, 10 minutes du centre ville et des plages (ou 20 minutes à pieds si vous êtes courageux, car il faut remonter tout là-haut !). La logistique a donc été peu fatigante et rendu le séjour encore plus agréable. La ville de menton est magnifique, les plages bien équipées, les activités nautiques et nocturnes nombreuses. Toute la famille a adoré, et les enfants ont envie de revenir chaque année Merci Brigitte pour l'accueil et le délicieux Limoncello

Perfekt
Das 120 jährige Haus und Garten war perfekt für uns zwei. Wir wollten unsere Ruhe finden, und doch in der Nähe einer Stadt und Strand Urlaub machen. Somit war dies eine super Kombination. Mme. Brigitte, die sehr nett war, hat uns alles erklärt, und hat uns mit vollstem Vertrauen das Haus über lassen. Danke schön für alle die uns behilflich waren einen super Urlaub zu machen
