This was a nice little rental. However, this is a commercial property. When I booked I thought it was a private property and I was dealing with the owner. Turns out, Expedia 3rd party posted this add and the owner didn't even know! If you want to book, go to the Bower Hotel & Suites website and book directly with them. They price is better as is the cancellation policy. When I did not receive a confirmation from the owner I phoned her. She said that she never received my email address on the reservation. After a chat we realized that she received my booking through Expedia. I spent hours on the phone with VRBO/HomeAway to try and figure this out. They were absolutely pathetic to deal with.
The property itself is a cross between an apartment and a hotel. They don't tell you, but you pull around the back and park. The 3 suites are accessible from the back. There were a few basics supplied, typical hotel type towels, a roll of toilet paper and a box of tissue. The kitchen has some basic supplies, a few pots, dishes, cutlery and dish soap. They don't specify that the coffee maker is a Keurig so I wasted money buying/bringing regular coffee only to have to go out and buy pods. They give you 6 pods free, 2 reg, 2 decaf, 2 hot chocolate and some tea bags. There was lots of kitchen space with nice cabinets and wood counters. Unlike typical rentals on VRBO, there were no condiments or supplies left by previous renters. A little ice in the freezer was it. No paper towel or extra garbage bags were provided and no instructions on whether NB recycles or what to do with your waste. The bed was a bit firm for our taste, it is a bit low on a platform bed. There are no extra blankets/pillows and no clock. The closet unit was nice but if you have full length items you need to use the front hall closet. The bedroom has a sliding door that lets the light in so if a person wants to stay up and the other sleep, it is nearly impossible. The space is fairly small but nice. The photos are accurate. The air conditioning was good as was the location. There was some street noise, nothing extreme. There was a washer/dryer so I guess you could wash your towels if you needed to. There were 2 laundry pods in the bathroom cabinet. We managed as we were only there for 3 nights. The shower stall was really nice and the rainfall showerhead was great. The sink in the bathroom didn't drain really well as it seems to be a flat bottom and there isn't much counter space. We'd stay again
