This is a less than one star rating due to the lack of amenities and things promised. Paying for an all inclusive resort but multlpe bars and resturants on the property were not open nor available. As a Luxury guest I was informed on check in that I could eat anywhere on the property but of the only two buffet restaurants open we were turned away from one. We arrived on Saturday Oct 25 and yes Hurricane Melissa was forcasted but all al a cart resturants were closed as well as multiple bars. Alcohol was being sold as an upgrade by certain bartenders and others served everything. After the hurricane and we were stranded by cancelled flights the hotel still charged full price for the extra nights that we had to stay waiting for the airports to open back up. No discounts were given and no amenities were available.

the room was great. The staff was inconsiderate after a fall and requested a wheel chair. The nurse only recommended going to the hospital, Staff member went out of his way to get me an ace bandage. No food on the "LUXURY" side. Torey Patterson and Briana at the front desk wanted to charge us $290 deposit and $50 a day for a wheel chair. The young lady the next day had a free wheel chair brought to our room. Orlando McIntosh treated us like family, cared for us in every way bringing me ice for my foot every 2 hours!!!

My check-in was at 3pm, my room was not ready until 5 pm. The beds need to be changed in certain rooms, when you lay on them it sounds like plastic wrap. The food was NOT good but the employees were nice. I do not recommend unless it's a free experience and you have a private driver. I hear it's under new management starting Jan 2026 but I'm not eager to see any improvements.

entertainment was horrible we was at adults only was everything was shut off turn off by 11:00pm , the bar closed nothing was available over adults, we have to go over the family section, remember it's was adults only, we felt like we were in the nursing home ,where we had to get to bed by 11:00pm that's definitely no good. Second time there, I went to the family side first & enjoyed it there, but ooh no adults luxury lame. They needed more activity with staff entertaining the guests. Like the rue and other's hotels. Food wasn't soo bad just but salty. But the stuff was excellent 👌

Our room was clean and spacious. The view was beautiful and the sound of the ocean was relaxing. They came in daily to restock the room. We felt very well taken care of at the resort. Each employee we came across made sure we were having a great time.
