This property was conveniently located to the downtown area. It had many dining options and a small market next-door. Mike at the reception desk was super friendly and very helpful. Would definitely come back to this property again.

We had a wonderful experience at the Carmel Bay View Inn. We are locals who stayed two nights after moving out of our home in Carmel. The property exceeded expectations. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. Icing on the cake, our room had an amazing view of Pt. Lobos too!

Very convenient, nice and cozy. Just no a/c and there was a lot of construction going on nearby. Check with property to see if theres still construction unless you dont mind being woken up at 8am. Not the properties fault but a heads up would have been nice. Everything else was amazing and id highly recommend

Hotel very close to the downtown Carmel area, which makes it nice if you want to walk around town and leave your car in the lot. However, we experienced a lot of noise from garbage trucks, etc both mornings early morning. The room itself had a nice comfortable bed with a great fireplace, fridge and keurig. A nice balcony with chairs and table The breakfast in the morning was very nice with the best coffee I have had in a while from a hotel, eggs and sausage or bacon, bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, juice, etc. There was a nice area to sit outside in the nicer weather. All in all a good place to stay if you are an early riser and don't mind a little noise in the morning from traffic/trucks.

I was awakened twice in the middle of the night by people above me (I was on the first floor). The breakfast was really disappointing. No fruit, nothing to add to the eggs (like tomatoes or other things). The only positive was the friendly staff and the location. I won’t stay there again unless I’m on a top floor room (given the noise I experienced).
