Very nice, very “Carmel”

Very comfortable bed, nice and quiet, easy walk into town. Amazing view of the ocean. The double Dutch doors are a great touch.

The facility is very dated, pet stains on the carpet, a small TV that seemed like the brightness was turned down and no way to adjust, hot and cold water for the shower reversed, a generator type buzzing that never stopped even at night that kept us up and a disappointing “breakfast” that was a few muffins and fruit. Staff was all very nice and the location is great but that won’t get us back…

Love the uniqueness of the Hofsas house. The location and walkability to the hog's breath and Casanova restaurants. Not to mention brophy's tavern.

The hotel has a heated pool and the heater is on all day and night making a weird noise, making it hard to sleep. Seems to me in January you don't need to have the pool open.
