The hotel was great-the staff.were friendly and very helpful. However, upon checking in the clerk told me valet parking was $25, it was $33/day and we were charged for 2 days having the car parked at 8:30 on Saturday night and retrieving at 11 am on Sunday.

Super location. Staff very helpful. Very Clean, all the stuff you need in a hotel room. Many places to eat and drink in the area. Restaurant in the complex was very good and staff eager to please. Short walk to aquarium, which was worth the visit.

Check-In was very quick. The Hotel has GREAT elevators and is well laid-out. The internet connectivity, however, was VERY POOR and INTERMITTENT and although I was willing to pay a premium for better service, it didn't seem to be available. Complaining to the generally friendly folks at the front desk didn't help much.

Very quiet comfortable room. Not cheap but all hotel rates are high now. Centrally located in Monterey, but easy walks to dining or wharf. GREAT stay!
