Convenient location, clean property, accommodated room change request for better partial harbor view. This prooerty is little bit overpriced compared to other better located and more updated hotels right on the water.

Our stay at the Portola Hotel was excellent. We had a great time and the service culture is very good since we received great service from every employee from the time we got there till the time we left. The location is also excellent if you want to be able to walk to the wharf and even Cannery Row. There is a restaurant that's very good called Peter B's, but the restaurant in the hotel is great as well, especially for breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I had a room with a balcony, a partial view of the water. I loved the location walking trail to the Aquarium and Fisherman Warf. I enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi area. The Spa offers massage and a variety of facials.

The property was great, very clean. It was crowded for NYE but the elevator systems worked great, didn’t have to wait too long at all if ever. Parking was easy, a bit far, as the property is so huge. Overall great and would recommend. Only downside is no room service for food. Portola Hotel and Spa was very enjoyable.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here. This hotel is right in the heart of downtown. Lotta places to have dinner or coffee music. Beautiful views of the sunset, very clean and great staff!

Perfect stay in center of town right off pier.
We loved every detail of our stay from the spacious, clean double Queen with a lovely, huge patio to the restaurant Jacks and brew pub. So nice to be in the center of town with so much going on around us. Would return in a heartbeat.
