The bed was EXTREMELY hard! The room has a smell to it. The shower didn't stay hot...it was safe enough for a toddler to shower with the knob turned all the way on heat. The breakfast was frozen waffles, hard boiled eggs, cold cereal, a few slices of bread, envelopes of oatmeal and 3 green apples. The room didn't look like what was shown on line. I hate I chose this place in the end. I learned you can't always go CHEAP. Worse TWO days ever.

Poor customer service
Got to the motel about 1:30 PM. Drove up from southern California, so it was a long trip. I asked if I could have an early check-in, as there appeared to be few cars in the drive-way and some empty rooms. I was told "no". I then asked if I could use a restroom and was told that "there are no public toilets" (on the premises). I responded that ,"I will be a customer, soon"> The clerk suggested that I go across the street to a fast food restuarant. I was not happy with that lack of cooperation.

Location in Seaside is close enough to main attractions in Monterey and Carmel. The nearby drive is very scenic. The rooms are styled well, fairly modernized. They are clean and the housekeeping services are very helpful. The continental breakfast was adequate. Was nice to have coffee and juice and basics of cereal, toast and instant oatmeal. oh....and frozen waffles. Easy parking. Building appeared to be newly painted and the hanging geraniiums offered a nice affefct.

The conditions of the bathroom were outdated and needed major TLC. There wasn’t enough hot water in our room so for three people the shower was lukewarm. This location was overpriced for the conditions, location and overall amenities that are offered.

I check into the room and I realize that the room was for disabled people. I also realized the restroom looks nothing like the photos. The ac unit look like it had mold on it. And the room just smelt. So I go to the front desk and ask for a room cuange. And the guys says he cant. So them I ask for a refund and he says I cant. I dont know how to do that. Let me call my manager. He calls his manager. And apparently his managers phone is dead. So I wait there for thirty minutes and he says he cant do anything. So then I leave. And I never stayed at the hotel. I want my money back. I contacted the hotel nothing. I contact expedia they say the manager said no to a refund. I want my refund. Dont ever stay at this hotel.

At least it wasn't far from the beach.
Near a road with a lot of traffic, including noisy modified exhausts. Walls not really thick enough to dampen the noise. Shower water not adjustable temperature. Started out extremely hot finished extremely cold. It was a fairly doable walk to the beach though.
