My daughter and I loved this hotel. The decor throughout the hotel was lovely, very original and had a home like feeling. Our room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. The staff were very professional and caring. We would definitely stay there again.

I’ve been in Montreal several times, this hotel was by far the worst: didn’t get housekeeping, everything in the room was outdated, musty odor in the room. And to top it all of, restaurant next door was pretty much a club with a DJ with music pumping until the wee hours.

Très bel hôtel, très bien situé, grande chambre, confortable, personnel très accueillant. Seul problème: insonorisation déficiente, on entend marcher les gens au dessus et la musique du resto en dessous. Dans notre chambre il y avait trois marches mal éclairées entre le lit et la salle de bain.

The shower was very old with almost no pressure and they rejected to admit/ apologize or compensate!! It also took like 20 min to heat up. The breakfast included could not be called more than a joke and was awfully bad! The management team acted so weak to resolve the existing room issues I will never again repeat the experience!

The good: The room is large and spacious, simply decorated. There is a skylight that really lights up the room with a nice light duribg the day. The bathroom is also quite large and well lit. Also the shower is very large with full body showers. The bad: The service: this is somewhat of a 50/50 split. When we first arrived, we were a couple hours early of the 3pm check in time, however, most hotels will check, and if you're room is ready they will check you in early. We were hoping for this situation since we were needing a place to change to go to a funeral. The person behind the desk did not even look to see if our room was ready, just staying the 3pm check in policy. When we asked if there was a washroom to get changed in, he said there was no washroom on the ground floor. The parking: The street that the hotel is on is a parking nightmare. There are only 2 spots outside of the hotel to check in and the only parking nearby is behind you on a 1 way street in the underground garage that is part of a different hotel. You will still need to walk outside to get to chez swann if you park here. The AC: The AC is not left on between visitors, so our room was 29C when we came in, after 8 hours it was only down to 21, after 14H it did not have the power to drop below 19C, so if you like cold rooms for sleeping, not great (it was only May). The skylight: although beautiful duribg the day, if you like a dark room at night for sleeping, not great.If i had more room I would saymore
