Trip to Montréal .
Thé hotel was ok but I was sadly disappointed by hotel .com. I booked 2 nights and I came back 24h later and stayed another 2 nights ; the hotel was not busy at all in the 2 stays . The difference in price was about 100.$ higher with .com. They told me to take it with the .com. Next time I will book directly with with the hotel !..🤔

I don’t know where to start. This hotel needs some serious updates and renovations! First of all Ruby Foos’s was an iconic establishment for decades. I was so looking forward to staying there. When we booked we were told that there was no food available at the hotel. That was not a big issue for us. Several weeks before our arrival we sent the hotel an easy request to not be near an elevator. They put us directly in front of an elevator. Okay, not a big deal. It took a very long time to fix this issue and in response they offered us a cookie! Then things got worse! Nothing worked in our room! Coffee maker was broken! Television did not work! The windows would not close properly. EVERY piece of furniture had a nick, chip, gauge, scratch. When we checked out I explained to reception all the issues and she assured me that a manager would call me. I have yet to hear from anyone. RUN! Stay away from Ruby Foo’s until they implement some serious and meaningful changes!

Liked the unique design, but restaurant had been closed down, overall the property felt a little shabby, trip hazards in the elevator. A few annoying things like tiny little drinking glasses in the room - had to go out to fill them repeatedly.

The hotel and staff were nice. Unfortunately our car was stolen from the parking lot right in front of the hotel. The police indicated cars are stolen from this hotel frequently. The hotel staff did not seem surprised or empathetic so it did seem that this was a regular occurrence.
