Prices for this basic hotel are getting a little high. I stayed here in spring ‘24 and prices were about half what I paid in August. While overall the room was clean, my white socks quickly became dark walking around the room. The cleaning chemicals that are used leave a lingering smell on clothing when you leave. Compared to other options in Montrose, I would stay here again.

The staff was wonderful in accommodating a late check in, just make sure to let them know ahead of time. Otherwise, the room was clean and recently updated. Worth the price!

It was clean and fairly quiet. Needed cups in the bathroom, a soap holder in the shower, the bathroom light switch was on the outside of the room. No place to put toiletries in the bathroom. If you a diabetic the breakfast was non-existent. This place is not a 8.8 rated motel

Owner was unsympathetic and inflexible in accommodating a change in a reservation due to flight cancellation due to a hurricane. I ended up losing one night stay. Even though my reservation was non refundable/changeable exceptions for dangerous weather should be made. I was just asking for a shift in my arrival date. Poor customer service for sure. All other facilities I stayed at during this vacation were able to make an exception. Flexibility for these type of situations should have been honored.

For a motel this place was fine. There were little things - like we had only one cup in the room and the shampoo provided was empty. The one thing that was a problem but we didn't discover it until right before we left was the bathroom window was not very secure. Clinton, the GM was great and while he didn't hover we knew he was there if we needed anything. The location was great for us. at first I was concerned about traffic noise but that didn't turn out to be an issue at all. Overall, while not luxurious it was clean and very friendly staff. Next time I pass through Montrose I wouldn't hesitate staying there instead of some sterile corporate place. OH! The beds were very comfortable. That's important.

Still a long way to go. Decent for price.
This is definitely an older motor inn with new paint. The bed was comfortable and sheets were soft. The room is small for sure, no where to hang clothes or even lay out large suitcase. The bathroom still needs a lot of love, toilet seats in horrible conditon. Wifi was very spotty. They only use a Roku to watch TV and only worked for part of my stay. For the price, it is a good value for sure.

Amazing little hotel
What a wonderful find! Great little motel…comfortable beds and clean rooms….but the staff wins the day!! Kara was amazing and had tips for meals and knew the area well. They have cheese, water and snacks in the lobby as well as toaster pastries. We really enjoyed the fire pit where we sat in the evening and had a drink and shared stories with other guests…can’t wait to go back!!

Nice rooms; strange bedframes
Affordable place with pretty nice rooms. Bedframes have a weird center leg that my husband and I hit with our feet or tripped over about ten times in both rooms we stayed in; these should be changed for safety reasons. Otherwise, it's a great spot.

It was a very clean remodeled older motel. Rooms were extremely small and the TV service sucked. They had Roku box in the room. The internet was very weak signal and in the evening when all the other guest were in their rooms your TV would not work.
