Stayed 11 years ago with positive results. Thought it would be okay to stay this time. Stayed in the dated room that had had a basic upgrade to a poor standard. Bed was good, a second pillow would be nice, linen and towels were in very good condition, thank you. Attention to detail for cleaning would benefit. Beer bottles and cigarette butts were left from previous customer on back porch table. Informed reception - he rolled his eyes. Rubbish was removed upon our return however table wasn’t wiped down. Restaurant presents well. Lighting in tree was great - saw a possum. Service and food was poor. 25 minute wait between my meal being served and my husbands meal being served with no communication from wait staff, when his meal did arrive, the steak was rare not medium, drowned in gravy and tough to chew, not representing the $49 price-tag. Not apposed to paying city prices providing the quality is there. Overall experience was poor for the price. Convenient to town centre. Pools were accessible and pleasant some extra cleaning and gardening would upgrade the experience (the bindis in the grass- with bare feet are not fun). Courtesy swim towel offered by reception was damp when collected. Property has potential, needs stronger management. We stayed at the other end of town August 2023, where I got superior facilities and service for the same price there. I will not stay ant the Artesian Spa motel again.

Enjoyed the artesian baths.They need more rails etc for those with disabilities.I found it hard to get out the f both the hot and cold pool

Room average. Stayed Saturday night. No restaurant open sunday morning for breakfast. Just a tray you could pick up with bread etc to take back to room. Bathroom very old No shower curtain so bathroom floor very wet.

Great place to stay with friendly staff and clean and comfy rooms. They have three pools and two heated to 35 and 40 degrees so was so nice having a dip after a long drive. The pools are open until 9pm as well. Will come back again.

Do not take the cheaper rooms; you will regret it. The breakfast is basic continental, definitely not European style. Then you pay for what you get, and it is adequate. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are better in the mid-price range and up.

The bed was really comfortable and was the best feature of the room. The TV was small and hard to see details when in bed. The new security door was a great addition. The Kitchenette was a disappointment due to ad-hoc crockery and utensils. One teaspoon and a couple of forks and one large plate and a couple of smaller ones plus a few mugs and several wine glasses. The greatest letdown was the hot Thermal pool which used to be around 43 degrees and now about 37. I went for the heat and was robbed.

The hot springs great, The place is a bit tired need a update, ,,a bit pricey for what you get staff friendly and helpfull( noisy fan in bathroom and fridge runs nonstop)

The thermal spa was good but not the focus of our stay- an added bonus. The children’s beds had one thin dirty blanket each on a 2 degree night. Room had many patches in floors, walls etc. The heater noisily struggled to emit any heat.

We had a motion activated camera sounding like a car alarm go off frequently just outside our room 😬. Also the Wi-Fi didnt work .. but the hot pools were nice and if I went back I’d just ask for a room away from that alarm!

Good points - Restaurant, artesian pool, clean Bad points - my credit card was charged even though I had nominated to pay at property- no apology was given - I even copped a surcharge for use of it! Room for the price was not great - heater did not work well, bedside light did not work, ‘free’ internet did not work, no tissues provided, no shower screen or curtain for shower- would rate it as 2 star. Am at another motel tonight less than 1/2 the price but ALL of the above work and provided.

Our stay on friday the 19th april 2024 was very disappointing! Firstly the motel advertised a restaurant, this was closed due to not opening for a month, and we didn't sleep for one minute due to the security alarm going off every half an hour. We were driving from Bathurst to Ipswich and relied on a good sleep this we didnt have! Felt extremely upset and fatigued on our 4:30am departure thismorning. #Not happy# will not return nor recommend.
