ACTIVITIES
Bockenfield Country Park, located between Morpeth and Alnwick, is the perfect place to spend a peaceful time relaxing amongst the sumptuous surroundings of this 25 acre park.

Known for its castles, Alnwick Castle which was made famous in the Harry Potter films, and Bamburgh Castle, one of the most impressive castles in the UK, the area attracts thousands of visitors a year.

The region also offers stunning landscapes which can easily be explored on foot or bike. The national park is home to a rich display of wildlife, whilst the expansive coastline provides a unique opportunity to view some of the UK’s rarest birdlife.

You should make time to visit the beautiful gardens and impressive country houses in the area and be sure not to miss the historic churches and the picturesque towns and villages. If you enjoy shopping, take a trip into Newcastle or visit the Metro Centre, one of UK’s biggest shopping centres.

For those who enjoy a round of golf, there is an 18-hole championship golf course at Burgham Park and Leisure Club which is less than 500 metres from the park. Its superb restaurant is sure to entice even the most discerning diners.

Wyldecrest Holiday Parks have recently bought Felmoor Park next door to Bockenfield. Meaning guests now have even more facilities to enjoy while away. (Connecting bridge next to children’s park on Bockenfield)

Lovely stay. All clean and tidy. Fresh towels supplied and a welcome bottle of Prosecco. Well situated for visiting National Trust Cragside and Endlish Heritage sites and only a short drive from the gorgeous beaches at Walkworth.

Trailor
The description is deceiving. It looks like it’s sitting on a hill. With the night lights on, it covers the unit up that It’s a traitor. A small traitor. Adequate for one night. 5 people we had to keep our suitcases in the living area and get our change of clothes, etc out when needed. No room in bedroom’s. Washer and dryer are at the entrance of the trailer park, outside, covered by a shed.

Relaxing
When we arrived the lodge was warm and clean. My friends and I work crazy hours and we are always too busy for catch up time. We planned this night away so we could catch up in peace and quiet. We had a lovely dinner and nibbles watching a movie and a full English breakfast in the lodge before returning back home to our hectic family lives. We will definitely book again.
