The Lodge

Lodge 3 presents breath-taking 180 degree panoramic views of the Indian Ocean.

Surrounded by the ocean and South African fynbos gardens, the sea-facing patio with built-in braai area offers stunning views and invites you for relaxing evenings with spectacular sunsets.

Your holiday home includes 4 bedrooms with 4 en-suite bathrooms and provides free WiFi Internet, 4 TVs, a cozy open fire place and a fully equipped kitchen. All bedrooms as well as the living area are equipped with new wooden flooring. The 4 bathrooms, kitchen and the rest of the house have tile flooring. At a total size of 170qm, the lodge offers all you need for an enjoyable stay. The whole lodge was completely upgraded and elegantly redesigned in April 2018 to make you feel at home.

Privacy, silence and relaxation are guaranteed at Lodge 3 which is located at the end of a dead-end street with only a few neighbouring lodges. From this idyllic estate location you find the pool area, the Golf driving range and the casino operations in walking distance. Within Pinnacle Point Estate, Lodge 3 is one of the few lodges enjoying authorized access by car with private parking right on your doorstep.

The Estate


The Pinnacle Point Estate has won the prestigious international World Golf Award

as the most beautiful golf course in South Africa back in 2016 and 2017. Set on a clifftop with 270 degree Indian Ocean views, the world-class Pinnacle Point Estate Golf Course is a spectacular masterpiece where golfers almost take more photos during the magnificent round than playing golf. In addition to the 18-hole championship golf course, Pinnacle Point Estate offers a state-of-the-art fitness center, tennis courts and an upmarket Beauty and Spa Wellness Centre.

Pinnacle Point Estate includes 2 secluded private beaches along the Garden Route’s spectacular coastline. The beautiful beaches at Eden Bay and Oyster Bay offer a gorgeous scenery that is just waiting to be captured on camera. In addition, the Pinnacle Point caves can be visited and explored as this archaeological site has been declared a Provincial Heritage Site.

George Airport is only a 25 minutes drive away and a very convenient hub for a seamless travel experience: Within 30 minutes you are able to return your rental car, check-in your luggage, pass all security checks and proceed to the departure gate. A 45 minutes flight time to Cape Town and 1,5 hours to Johannesburg make this airport easily accessible.

Activities

In addition to the various activities within Pinnacle Point Estate (Golf, Tennis, Fitness, Hiking, Wellness Centre, Beaches, Caves, Restaurant, Bar etc.), the Garden Route Casino - only 500m away from Pinnacle Point Estate entrance - provides a lot of entertainment, restaurants and bars.

The center of nearby Mossel Bay offers all you need to make your stay most comfortable: shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, beaches, hospital, doctors, etc. Mossel Bay is famous for its accessible Great White Sharks and Southern Right Whales, so Shark Cage Diving is a popular all-year-round adventure to get an adrenaline rush, whereas scenic and memorable Whale Watching tours are offered along the Greater Mossel Bay coastline during season from June to November. In the vicinity, also sky diving, horseback riding, fishing and hiking adventures are available.

If you would like to enjoy a typical South African game drive in the bush, a beautiful game resort is only 25km away offering daily safari tours with close encounters of lions, elephants, buffalos, rhinos, zebras, giraffes, springboks, impalas, elands and many more.

George is the closest bigger city with an airport offering a variety of domestic connections. The popular lagoon-city Knysna is 1 1/4h drive away from Pinnacle Point and can be easily visited on a daytrip.
