Good option for a couple of nights in Motueka. About a 10 minute walk to dining. Couple than run the property are very friendly and helpful.

The host was really friendly, helpful and accommodating. The suite was immaculately presented and well appointed with everything we could need. The bed was very clean and comfortable with extra pillows if needed. The wee fan was most helpful in the muggy heat however an air con unit would have been bliss. I had issues connecting to the wifi. I did not mention it to the host (I’m sure there would be a solution) as I used my mobile data instead. The parking was easy and the grounds were lovely and lush! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Avalon Manor Motel and I highly recommend the amazing hosts and their wonderful Motel.

Very comfortable motel on the main road 30 minutes from the National Park near markets and restaurants. The room was well equipped with a full kitchen and a nice view of the mountains. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the Avalon.

Great location a short walk from Motueka. Very clean and well appointed by Motel standards. Comfortable beds and friendly staff. Privacy a bit of an issue for us as appt 6 was close to bins and route to the washing line - looking directly into living & bedroom space. Otherwise, very good.
