WOW! This was the most comfortable place we've stayed in a long time. In the Top 10 Internationally, Top 3 in the U.S. Communication with the host was stellar, room immaculately clean, comfortable bed, awesome pillows, walk in shower and claw foot tub. You fill out a paper of what you want for breakfast, and in the morning they bring it to your room. Good food. I wish we had been here during better weather so I could sit in one of the many patio swings to enjoy the peace and beauty of this place. Highly recommend.

This gem of a property is nestled in the woods and is just off I-5. Rooms are in different buildings more like cabins and the customer service is superior with a phone call a couple of hours before arrival with check in info. The property has such a peaceful vibe.

Wonderful place
Best place I have ever stayed. The rooms were wonderful so cozy, amazing shower, fireplace and jetted tub were great additions. The staff was so friendly, great communication. Breakfast was delicious. Such a great setting, peaceful, quiet, beautiful, wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely go back.

Quaint stop near Shasta with EXCELLENT staff and service. Room service breakfast was great too! I highly highly recommend stopping here if you’re looking for places the area.

A much needed brief retreat
We booked the woodpecker room because it had a jacuzzi tub and fireplace. It was just what we needed and we were sorry we could only stay one night. The free continental breakfast was served to our room which was a nice touch. Would like to come back for a longer stay.

Felt like you were tucked away in the woods. Close to Hwy 5 and train tracks. Could not here the cars and enjoyed the occasional rumbling sound of the train. Room was pleasant. Had a few minor problems that the staff took care of right away. I will definitely come back again.

I very seldom write a review, however this is a great find. My wife and I frequently travel by car and have stayed in many hotels, and motels, most are satisfactory very few are exceptional, the inn at Shasta lake is just that. Take the extra five minutes to stay there, it’s worth it.

We made a stop enroute to Portland from San Jose to have a break in the journey and were very pleasantly impressed with the property, the hospitality and amenities. It’s a charming spot nestled in the woods with individual rooms that are more like cabins. The management and staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. And it’s less than 5 mins off I 5. Now we will have to make a stop here on our next road trip!

The staff is absolutely the friendliest and most helpful. The manager called me before my stay to ensure my check-in was smooth and to ask about what I wanted on the breakfast menu for the following morning, they serve breakfast which was really good. Really great place to stay if your travel plans are visit this area.

Check in was amazing...the room and the clawfoot tub was beautiful after a long drive ..the bedding was luxurious then came the served to our room breakfast..gourmet!! Recommend thos place to anyone in the Shasta lake area.
