Amazing stay at Cocoon! We even got an upgrade due to my boyfriends birthday and complimentary prosecco! It was a fabulous stay in a great hotel!

Worst hotel I have ever stayed. 1. Rooms are very small, not enough place for at least opening our luggage 2. Transparent wash room, not comfortable for family with children, not a single towel holder. 3. One switch for all light. 4. Location is not safe. 5. Noisy location, someguy in mid night was playing song on loud speaker in the street. There were some people right below the hotel who was talking loudly at night.

It was hard to find walking from the train station because of the construction. When we finally found our way, the front staff were very friendly and helpful. Let us check in early! Room was small but innovative? The bathroom is sort of part of the whole room? Also, I unfortunately bumped my head on the angled low ceiling. My fault, but still a bit of a negative for the room. We opened the window, but it was open right to a scaffolding…didn’t feel that was safe so we closed and locked the window. The elevator was broken when we were leaving so had to carry our huge luggage down 6 flights. It wasn’t the best stay unfortunately, but the staff and lobby really were great and still had a lovely time in Munich. If there was no construction and the elevator didn’t break, it would have been a much more pleasant stay.

It was exactly as expected. The room was perfect for us as people who spent very little time in the hotel! Very close to public transportation, but still quiet enough on a side street. The lobby was very quaint and everyone who worked there was kind and helpful. The only suggestion I have for security would be to have additional swipe access to the elevator or doors into the room hallways.

Location is great for seeing all of the sights. Breakfast is convenient, has a great variety and will meet your needs. Don’t know if it’s worth 19 euro, but to each their own. AC and heat are controlled by the front desk. So be prepared to ask them to switch on the unit when you come back from sightseeing. The shower location in the room may not be ideal, but we didn’t find it to be a huge deal.

Place was okay. Lots of nearby construction made it difficult to locate the hotel. Front Desk was a bit overwhelmed with several people checking in at once. Good breakfast but a bit pricey at $20. Would stay there again.

This hotel is what you’re looking for if you’re going to spend all day long exploring Munich. Rooms are a bit small but everything is well designed to accommodate yourself. It has AC, there’s no minibar but if I’m not mistaken, you can purchase cold drinks at the reception and they’re open 24 hours. Shower has a great pressure and hot water never ever failed. The only problem and it has nothing to do with the hotel, is the zone. There are a lot of homeless people walking around at night, and if you add that there are constructions undergoing around the property, you may feel unsafe. Yet, I never had any issue and I checked out at 6 am when it was a bit dark and nothing happened. I’d definitely consider in’s staying there again.

The hotel is good for one night stay not more. The area is noisy so i recommend you to book the quite room which has extra rate. I have requested the cleaning but nobody came. One positive thing was the attitude of receptionists. So nice and friendly. Other than that average standard for short stay. The price and quality do not match from my perspective.
