The property is split into two separate buildings, so unless you pay for the "Oceanview" suites, expect to be across the street. That being said, there's an empty lot, so walking to the beach took 5 minutes max. We rented a king efficiency, no view. The building is older and dated, but well kept. The bed was comfortable and kitchen functional, but the bathroom small and there was a musty odor. We had hot showers. Loud music from the cars on the street at night, but you're on the strip. Most hotels in MB are used heavily and saltwater horrible on the structure, so I didn't expect perfect. I expected clean, functional, smaller resort, and comfortable... and that's what I got. If you're going for luxury, pay more. Would I stay again? Yes, but I'd pay more for the Oceanview Room. There's restaurants, shops, and activities everywhere, but none on the property. The pools looked nice, but we preferred the beach. Staff was pleasant. We stayed 3 nights in late August.

I traveled 8 hours from Philadelphia to this hotel. 15 minutes before arrival/ check in they tried to take my security deposit. I’ve never had a hotel take my security deposit before I arrived. then they said that my room was canceled. so how did you cancel my room if you just took my security deposit, they claimed because the money wasn’t taken out that they canceled my booking. and this is why I lock my card because you’re not supposed to do that as a property. then after demanding my room because they only canceled it that day, not only were there roaches and bedbugs. The ceiling was leaking and could have fallen on top of my children who were sleeping in the living room. When I expressed my concerns, they told me I needed to talk to a manager who arrives whenever he decides he wanted to arrive and that if we did not leave, they were going to call the cops on us
