Never again

The premises were dirty and in need of serious upgrading. The bathroom had spackle patches all over the walls, the sink faucet was loose and difficult to use. There was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, but the jets didnt work. The heater was extremely loud and kept us up most the night. Also located close to the highway and we heard traffic throughout the night. Pool area was in poor condition with broken chairs, no available towels, and had an extremely strong odor of chlorine which literally made us cough and burned our eyes. Pool also closed early at 8:00.

This was a horrible experience. Between the cockroaches, disgustingly stained walls, trash all around the property and no working light in the bathroom(with no attempt to resolve the issue), i will never stay at another Howard Johnson hotel

We booked a king bed. The only thing that was kind was head board. We are not even sure it was a queen. There was apx 18" short head board to mattress. The head board was dirty. We have pictures to support both of these comments. When we told front desk they said there was nothing they could do because we paid through Expedia

Price is cheap - but still not worth the discomfort, the gross conditions and the horrible service. Had to make adjustments to my booking and tried calling for two days straight before I arrived. Was convinced I had the wrong number. When I arrived to check in, I decided to call the number as I was walking in. Lo and behold, the phone is ringing RIGHT beside the front desk person as they're just sitting their playing on their phone. No apology as I asked why they didn't answer the phone. Just a rush to check me in. That was probably the best part of my stay because after that, it was even more disappointing. Dirty room that smelled faintly of cigarettes. Questionable cleaning. Moldy bathroom. Big regret staying here and the only positive is that I'll never book at this hotel or other Howard Johnsons.

I stayed at this property with my 12 year old daughter. We were roomed in the last possible room at the very end of the entire building, furthest possible from the front. When we got in the room, the TV and phone was unplugged from the walls as if the room didn't get used. The room was ok, semi clean, cleaned but walls, doors and furniture was work out or stained. Mostly outdated and a bit beat up overall. The first night we stayed, the room next door was recording porn all night, moaning, laughing partying and odd sounds coming from the room next door that shared a door for a shared room with ours. It was disturbing. The second night was fine as they moved out and new people moved in. It seemed that the property only used the same 10 rooms to rent and the rest of the property was just vacant/unusable. Felt very abandoned and run down. The worse part of our experience came after we moved out. The next day after check in I received a notification from my bank that they detected fraud. I was charged $600 for a hotel in England, outside of the country. The only place I used that specific credit card, and the only other charge on there was this motel. My bank immediately opened an investigation and closed my card. This means that the property compromised my card information and used it for fraudulent charges. I contacted the property to make them aware, they said the manager would be notified but didn't really make a big deal about it. It's a little disheartening. Be aware.

not our best experience

coldest week in several years and no heat in the bathroom. none, thank god the room's heat worked but froze in the bathroom. Booked a room with a rollaway. got there, not very nice man said no one has rollaway beds and we would have to get 2 rooms. and we'd have to pay 150% more for the second room. we were going to leave and He magically found us a room that had a pullout couch. but $30 more. we took it but room was obviously being worked on as the no heat thing and bath tub had no working stopper and they couldn't do anything. we had to call for towels and blankets and pillows repeatedly. no manager on duty to complain to. pool was very cold, practically unusable. not our first stay here, but we were less happy this time. room was fairly clean but the front desk guy needs an attitude adjustment. Think we disturbed his computer game or social media experience.
